Great Rug

Love this rug. I decided I liked the look of the "back" side better so removed the sewn on tag and wax crayon markings. I know it's hard to buy a rug online so I have included photos of the front and back of the rug, in a room with lots of natural light.

Beautiful rug. We loved the colors, etc., but it was a bit tough to clean. We found dog hair tended to stick to the weave a bit more than our other rugs. Still, beautiful.

Beautiful blend of traditional and modern styles

This is a charming rug. You will need a pad, as it is thin. The colors are soft and the design is a mix of traditional Kilim and more contemporary looks.

It's beige, not green, and kind of ugly

The colors and description misrepresent this rug. The main color is beige. The other colors are kind of sickly.

I never write reviews, but I feel responsible for helping other customers avoid the problems associated with purchasing this rug and by extension, the company itself. Overstock sent the incorrect rug to me TWICE. To make matters worse, not only did O.co send the wrong rugs, but the taupe/green rug (that I had originally ordered) was no longer is stock. The whole process took several weeks and I still ended up without a rug. Though customer service was excellent/apologetic, the product descriptions are not reliable and there's a good chance that you might end up with something you didn't order.

nice rustic rug

This rug is by no means an oriental style. It reminds me of a Mexican style weave that I have seen before. It is well made and the color mostly matches the website. After placing the substantial rug beneath my solid cherry Amish furniture I recently purchased, I was pleased. The rug lends itself to a more casual appearance than an oriental individually hand tufted and knotted rug. The weave goes in and out. I imagine they used a rug frame that supports the two directions of weave. There are not indivual clipped yards on this rug. I did not use a rug mat as it is on tile in my dining room and not slipping around at all. I am pleased.

Very Nice Rug

I am very pleased with the overall quality and appearance of this rug! It looks great in my kitchen and classies up the place considerably. I also purchased a pad from Overstock for use with this rug. It keeps it from slipping on the wood floor and cushions the sink standing experience.

Flat woven- that was a surprise but I wasn't too up on carpet types. I do love the color and it was my first big purchase from Overstock for my new condo. Best decision on decorating I made. superb!

Rug Received is NOT the One Pictured

I have ordered this rug TWICE and received a different rug than the one pictured both times. The one I keep receiving has a dark brown border, doesn't have even remotely the same pattern or colors and is missing the double-banded border around the exterior band of color. The rug is nice, but it's not what I wanted.

What can I say? I love, love, love this rug. The colors are as they say but muted. This gives the effect that the rug is an old precious antique heirloom. We put it in our kitchen on our dark wood floor to give more light with our antique white cabinets. It worked. The other important thing is that it is a dense flat weave. This gives cushioning to the feet yet still fits under our outside door as it opens and does not catch on the weather stripping. I think it is my favorite rug in the house. I also ordered the Boni wool hand hooked rugs for my bedroom to match my Custis Garden bedspread. Great match and they too are of a high quality. I checked this Indo Sumak rug in other sites and felt price wise I got a very good deal. I think I have found a smaller one to sort of match it ( have not gotten it yet) at Plush rugs.com but it was more expensive and smaller. It was the Courtisan Bijar Blossom light sage. This was for the hallway. Finally, if you are an antique lover I think you will particularly like this rug. Overall, I think the rugs on Overstock considering quality and price excel most other stores and sites. Happy Hunting!!

disappointed

I was very suprised at the sparse nature of this rug. It did not match the description at all. On top of that the first time I vacumned it, it developed tiny balls - like on cheap sweaters. I have to say that my purchase was an embarrasment - although I still love the desgin on the rug.
