Safavieh rugs are the best!

Just opened this rug in 2x3 size and was a bit surprised by color. This is my 5th or so Safavieh rug and am always amazed at quality and beauty of their rugs,actually artwork for your floor. This rug is awesome as usual,but i thought it was yellow,green,orange,black and brown,but is really just 2 shades of green,no yellow. If you look at real pics you get a better idea of colors but I didn't, so surprise. Thankfully it still works for me,and is a small rug for front door,so no biggie.As for shedding of wool rugs,always expected,and will diminish in time.Small price to pay for durable,soft,rug. I cannot get over the bang you get for your buck with Safavieh rugs,when I want or need a rug,just come to overstock and buy,never shop around because I know there is none better! Thanks again Safavieh for another happy satisfied purchase! Just adore your rugs!

Sheds

Beautiful colors, but sheds terribly. Vacuumed over 100 times it won't stop.

Overstock has a tendency to photograph rugs so the colors look much brighter than the rug looks in person. I don't know if it is done on purpose but I have noticed it several times and this was the most jarring difference. When I first unpacked it, I though they had sent the wrong color rug. Turns out each color shown is just multiple shades darker in reality. If I keep it, it's just because it is a hassle to return a larger rug (and it did not cost alot). But I don't think I'll buy rugs online anymore.

Beautiful rug, looks better than expected in person! Looks perfect in my foyer and makes everyone stop. I recommend this product to anyone!!

Good quality and colorful rug.

Bought this rug 2 years ago and it still looking fabulous. It's in the dining room so gets a lot of traffic. It's cheerful l and I get compliments on a regular basis. It does "fuzz up" after heavy traffic of moving dining chairs around but it vacuums up easily. I would recommend this rug!

GORGEOUS!! After looking for a long time for an area rug with lots of color that wasn't overpowering, I found it! WOW! The colors are very accurate to the photos online, perhaps just a bit softer (the red is more of a rich coral/russet, rich but not gaudy .. what may look like yellow on some screens is more of a soft chartreuse/lime yellow-green.) Even though there is a ton of color, they are all very 'neutral' and work beautifully with other accents. I found throw pillows in similar shades of blue, coral and yellow and it really tied it all together! A real "wow" factor without being overwhelming. The rug is beautifully made, very thick and plush, well packed and super fast delivery. After only a few hours of unrolling the ends straightened out with no marks or issues. Oh, another reviewer noted about how much it sheds, YES, ANY wool rug will do that for the first several vaccuums, that is very normal and shouldn't be a strike against it. It will settle down. My home is kid, family and pet-friendly, and I know from past experience that a wool rug will last, hold it's color and is easy to maintain. A little extra vaccuming in the beginning is a small price to pay for such a beautiful, well made carpet. Love it!! I'll post photos once I finish the room :)

The rug came quickly always a plus with Overstock. However, the rug sheds tremendously. I am hoping after a few vaccums and wear that will cease. The colors are as presented except for the light gray which actually appears as if the rug is just dirty in those areas. I almost sent it back for thag reason but my daughter said the other colors make up for that short coming. I gave it 3 stars because its just ok. Oh the size was just was I was hoping for to go in front of a curved sectional.

Colors are not as pictured

While this is bold and fun and soft, I expected yellow pops of color as pictured. Instead the yellow is almost a lime/avocado green which I love too but wanted the yellow to tie together my room. I'll still keep the rug as I love it anyway

Love this plush rug

I've had this rug for almost a year now, and it still looks as beautiful as they day I got it. The colors are true to the picture and the pile is thick and deep--very luxurious. It definitely makes a dramatic statement in my entry.

Are You Kidding?

I do not like this rug at all. I don't mind the shedding so much but the colors are not at all what I was expecting. I was expecting vibrant, bold, funky colors but instead got dull, duller and dullest. colors. ever. The only thing I like about this rug is the length.

Beautiful

The only problem I have with this rug is how much it sheds! I will admit that it is somewhat worse because I have it on dark hardwood floors that show everything, but I've had it for over a month now and vacuumed it 6-8 times and I still see a lot of wool on the floor. It is beautiful, well made and true to color!

Love the colors

I bought this run over 2 years ago and have to say I still love it! It's perfect in our kitchen the colors are perfect and the size is great with the length of the island! Highly reccommend.

It is my favorite spot on the living room floor now. It adds a splash of color as well!

fun colors

I ordered this for a bathroom with blue counter tops. It worked perfect. I love the way it feels on bare feet, thick with texture but soft. Another great buy from Overstock.

bold and beautiful

I purchased this rug for a long hallway at the entrance to my house. There is lots of brown in that area already, but with plain walls and solid color tile floors. The rug adds a lot of excitement to the area and brighten things up. The colors of the rug are vivid, but not especially bright, much like you see in the pictures. I'm very pleased with the rug and how quickly I received it. I put a non-slip pad underneath it, which has eliminated slippage.

This rug loses wool every minute

Don't buy this product. It's only a headache for house cleaning. The wool kept coming out, everywhere. We are planing to return it.
