This 3-wire receptacle nightlight with double-pole tamper resistant worked ideally for our enclosed Florida room. It's rated for 15 amps which is more than sufficient for the standard outlet. The night light turns on and off automatically depending on the room light level. The light is more than adequate for the room. The installation was simple. The only issue I had was the existing house wiring was to large to fit in the installation holes. I had to wrap the wires around the screw lugs. After installing the light/plug, it looks natural in the room.

What a unique device.....a 125 volt electrical receptacle(20 amp) with a built-in night light in one unit. The night light/receptacle can be dimmed to a desired setting and has an electric eye which will turn on/off as the light conditions change. LED bulbs can last up to 50,000 hours which means you may never have to change out.....should last a lifetime. The brightness of the LED can be dimmed to your desired setting by simple pressing on the lens to adjust to a high, medium or low setting.One great feature is the plug in receptacle has shutters built into the openings yo prevent foreign objects from being inserted. Finally a permanent installed nightlight that is trouble free.

I installed the 3-WIRE RECEPTACLE COMBO NIGHTLIGHT WITH DOUBLE-POLE TAMPER RESISTANT, IVORY in an upstairs hallway. The nightlight gives enough light to see if anything is on the floor without having to turn on the larger overhead light. The fact that it is one unit that doesn't protrude into the hallway makes it nice when vacuuming as there is nothing sticking out as with the old nightlight and I only need one outlet to plug the vacuum into.

For the past 16 years we have used a small table lamp as a light source, that works really good....after feeling around in the DARK FOR THE OUTLET!!! See the problem? Well, not any more!!! This little jewel was the perfect solution for that problem!! Didn't need a ton of light to change the A/C filter, thanks for the solution!!

What a handy piece of gear. It beats plugging in night lights which are often cumbersome and in the way. Installation is no big deal, just remember to kill the current to the outlet before you replace the fixture. There's plenty of light for the average area. Works well in a hallway, could be used in a bathroom if you don't need a lot of plugs where it's installed.

The receptacle functionality as combo is good. The dust to dawn sensor sometimes mulfunction but it works for the most part. The receptacle did not come with face plate and I could not find exact color match from Home Depot to match the ivory color. Losing one outlet is bit bummer but adding the night light with dimmer sort of made up for the missing outlet.

Right out of the box, I could tell this receptacle combo nightlight was a quality produce. Complete instructions were included for both switched and always hot outlet. I think the idea of using an outlet/nightlight is a good idea, especially since there are so many lightly used outlets, especially in areas where a night light would be helpful. Overall a quality product.

This nightlight is nice and bright, and if its too bright you can dim it down. The ambient light sensor has a bit of a delay on it so don't think it is broken if the light doesn't turn on the second to room goes dark.
