The jewelry box is lovely. My only complaint was that it had a strong musty odor when opened (as if it was in damp storage for a long time). So I had to air it out for a week before wrapping it and giving it as a present.

I can't believe I found a jewelry box with room for all of my fine and costume jewelry. This extra large, high quality piece holds a variety of sizes from chunky bangles to delicate stud earrings. it even has a dedicated space for wrist watches. This is probably the last jewelry box I'll ever need.

Jolly nice box but .... The fixing of the holding strap to stop the lid falling back too far is a poor piece of design. It goes from the main body of the box up to and tucked behind the mirror inside the lid. As the mirror is only glued in place, this pulls on the mirror which has fallen out I have re-affixed it however it will go again. It needs a proper attachment to the lid which doesn't rely upon the glue which holds the mirror
