The rug is faded and does not look new.

I saw this pattern in person and it looks exquisite. Purchased online and placed it in a room with low foot traffic thinking it simply needed time to lay out. The fabric on one side seems warn and the fabric will not stand up, even after brushing or vacuuming. Very disappointed with the quality of this rug.

While I only had a chance to look at it briefly before wrapping it up again before my flooring job starts on the 8th, the colors were beautiful and the pile, while on the thin side, should work for my purposes. Unfortunately, because my table has a very heavy glass top, I could not place it under my table at that time and confirm that the size matches the size I ordered, but it appears to be accurate. . . As soon as my LVF is installed, I will be following up to give a more complete review.

A different wrinkle

This is a beautiful rug and looks like one which cost lots of $$$. They manufacturer's instructions say to give the rug time to relax after being rolled tightly for its journey. It's been a couple of months now and the wrinkle it arrived with is a bold as they day the rug was unwrapped. Going to try a clothes steamer to see if I can persuade the wrinkle to move on.

This is the second rug we ordered because the first one was not an accurate size. The rug is supposed to be 79 inches by 79 inches. The first rug received was 79 inches by 75.5 inches. The second rug measured the same way so obviously this manufacturer can produce beautiful rugs but cannot produce a perfectly round rug which is a real shame. When the second rug measured the same we rolled it up and took it to Home Depot for a refund. We kept the first rug we ordered, even though the sizing is problematic for placing our dining table and chairs, because the colors are perfect. Maybe Home Depot would want to follow up with the rug distributor/manufacturer to talk about quality issue with regard to sizing accuracy.

Sizing off

Beautiful rug but the sizing was off as happened to another customer. The rug was listed as being 6ft 7in round or 79 inches by 79 inches but the one we received is 79 inches by 75.5 inches. This makes a big difference when used under a table with chairs as the chairs do not fit the same on all sides of the rug. One chair's legs are almost at the edge where the others have a few inches to spare. We are ordering another rug in the hopes the sizing will be better/more accurate. It's really a shame because it's a beautiful rug and perfect for our dining area.

This was the perfect area rug for our eat in kitchen. We have used it for over a year, and it is still in great shape; it did match what we saw online and we look forward to enjoying it for many years. I would definitely recommend it to a friend, it is the perfect solution to our needs.

Looks as pretty up close as it does in the picture but take a step away (or even further away) and it looks bad......it’s a shaded rug (light and dark) and the shades are just too inconsistent and make it look very patchy. I loved this in the picture and had high hopes but am having to return it.

Lovely rug. Has a nice shine to it. Colors are soft, as is the texture. Colors true to the picture. Definitely looks more expensive than it is!

This looks great in my dining room. It's got a great distressed pattern. Hides stains well and doesn't shed. I don't like oriental looking rugs but this is a more modern look.

Beautiful, but be sure you know what to expect

The color is a little less teal/green in my home lighting than the pictures show, I would say it is more medium blue/turquoise in my house. So the blue/multi color description is pretty accurate. When the sun shines on it, it does look a little bit closer to the pics. I read reviews all over the internet, so I knew what to expect. It's viscose which I was very apprehensive about: it does shed, it is super thin, it does show "foot prints" and it drastically "changes colors" lighter and darker (similar to the look of a velour/velvet fabric) depending on the angle you're looking at it (or when you rub your hand across it). I have it so that the "lighter" side faces me when I walk in the room and I can see more of the rug detail (and for some reason you can't see the foot prints from that angle). When I look at it from the "darker" side the colors are deeper and more tonal. . . . . You cannot use a regular vacuum on it. The fibers are woven so tight that that the rug sticks to the vacuum. I use a stick vac and turn off the beater bar and vacuum only in one direction, not back and forth. Gets those footprints out that way too, if they bother you. . . . . I haven't gotten it wet yet, supposedly water discolors this type of material, but I took the chance anyway. (Obviously this is not an "easy-care" rug.) It's dark enough, busy enough, and distressed enough that I think it would hide stains well. The rug is thin enough that I don't think it will show too much matting, flattening, or wear over time. This is certainly not an heirloom quality or an investment by any means, but it is attractive and on trend. Besides, I think I will probably get the itch to redecorate before this thing wears out. And rugs don't last long in my house anyways with three little kids, so sadly I am just used to buying rugs that are less expensive and replacing them every few years. . . . . I got an amazing deal on this rug directly from H O U Z Z (not a third party seller on the site) , over 300 dollars cheaper than H D or any where else so I took the chance on this rug. It was wrapped poorly for shipping ( I think most rugs you order online come straight from the manufacturer, so I don't think it was H O U Z Z 's fault). The bag ripped open on the end and the back side of the rug was scuffed up and pulled some threads. It was raining on delivery day and luckily the open part did not get wet. The other end of the package was covered in mud and due to the poor wrapping, a little bit of mud got on the binding. I wiped it off and kept the rug anyway because rugs are such a pain to ship back. . . . . All things considered, this is a very beautiful and soft to the touch rug. I am happy with it and think it was a good value for the price I paid. I would have never paid the full price for it though. I do wish I could have found a similar looking rug in this color in a more durable, shed proof, easy care synthetic material. I could not, trust me, I looked for months. It has nice detail and the pattern is pleasing and not too busy or distracting. I don't think it looks cheap even though it is thin, and when anchored by my furniture it doesn't slide around. It is great for a vintage distressed look, so I think if any accidents happen, it will just kind of go with the look. We'll see. . . . . If you're particular about carpet foot prints, need a cushy soft rug you want to be able to lay on, or know you're going to be bothered if you have a bunch of kool aid or pet accidents....keep looking (unless you intend for this to be a short-term, disposable rug). If you want to try out the vintage overdyed trend without breaking the bank and know what to expect from a viscose rug, I think this is a good buy if you get it on sale.

Vintage Vtg 432D, Light Grey/Ivory Runner 2'2x7'

Order arrived quickly. Using the runner in my hallway with a waffle rug pad to keep it securely in place. Very beautiful and true to the pictures and color tones on the site. I also ordered a 2'xx6' and that arrived but is a different color tone and doesn't 'match' the 2'2"x7' .... I was very disappointed as they are in different rooms but still visible of each other. Color tones are off; one is more ivory and the other more grey! It's thin but that was evident in the weight and description of the rug - so no surprises! Very soft and \beautiful. Happy with my purchase and would be happier if the rugs were the same color tone. Just don't expect that if you buy more than one size to go in the same or an adjoining room, they will work together!

Nice rug for the price

We like the rug! It looks great in the room. It arrived very quick as well. The colors are very close to the pictures shown online. They are a little more muted than we hoped but looks great under our table. . . It is a little thinner than we thought it would be and was rolled with a corner folded. It is starting to relax down. We may have to add some two sided tape to keep it down flat on the floor. . . All in all we are happy with our purchase.

Dining Room Rug

This is my third Safavieh vintage-style rug. I like that they are thin, easy to clean, and go with a lot of colors and decor. This one has some blue (but not baby blue) and tans. I also like that the nape of the rug is enough to show nice color changes when you run your hand or vacuum along it.

Thin rug

I believe the colors on the internet show true in delivery. The quality looks ok. But I will be returning it. The rug lacks thickness and lushness. This is probably due to the rug type and therefore my error.

I regret this purchase

I have had the rug for two months now. It is too thin and buckles a lot. I should have sent it back right away because the color is much darker than the photo. My husband told me to keep it and said the color was OK and it was too much trouble to send it back during a snowstorm. But now, we both regret this purchase. I don't intend to keep it. I will probably donate it to charity.

Beautiful vintage look

Beautiful colors!! It is thin but for the cost and the size I got makes it is a great deal!!! I'm gonna get a pad to put under it to soften it up but not a big deal as it is under my dining room set on wood floors. Very pleased since I have been looking for some time now.
