great lighting over a couch

I need a little extra light at night to be able to read and this lamp is perfect. I would recommend.

Lights up the whole room

Perfect for what we needed it for. It is high enough not to get in the way and puts out lots of light. Its really nice to have the dimmer option.

Arrived broken.

I recently purchased, its a nice lamp. However 3 lighting fixtures can not be connected to the bulb correctly. I am so disapointed. The lighting notches are great with 3 settings. I will provide pictures hopefully they can refund some type of adjustment. The light bulb insert is jammed so i am unable to secure the lamp shade correctly. So it dangles down, not sure if thats safe or a fire hazard.

vague instructions and broken lights

lack of instructions caused some confusion. be sure to screw on base first (did not have this in instructions.) bulbs were broken, security screw was not able to go in because holes did not line up. but once up light was good and looked ok.

Could be sturdier.

Ok, could be sturdier, tightened as best I could and it still leaned in the middle. Very tall. Uses small lights. Bought for my mom and she likes it.

Let There Be Light!

This is an amazing lamp. We put it behind our headboard so reading at night is easier. The lamp is truly white. The light is bright, but can be dimmed if you want. I love this lamp and want to get one for my daughter's room as she cannot see well at night and would have a much easier time reading.

I was really interested in purchasing this. But, it uses candelabra bulbs. I detest candelabra bulbs and have removed any and all of them from my house. I will not purchase anything that uses candelabra bulbs. Too bad, this is really nice looking. But, I won't settle for those useless bulbs.

Didn't even get to put it together all the way

I ordered 2 of these for my new condo, which didn't have overhead lighting in the living room or den. I saw reviews and thought it looked like a great buy. First of all (and this is not Walmart's fault) UPS didn't even knock or ring the bell, so it sat outside in the side yard (not even on porch) all day until my partner came home and saw the packages. Putting together seemed simple, but as soon as I attached the arms, one broke and just dangled. Until then, I was excited. Now, I realize you get what you pay for. These are both going back and I am shopping elsewhere. Too bad too.

Beautiful

It's exactly how it's pictured online but it looks even better in person. It's tall and it brightens up my entire living room which is a pretty large area. I love it.

Right light for large area

Assembly is a bit awakard due to hieght but no rockets scientist needed. It puts out more light than I expectd. Really stable. Great that lights are dimable.

Poor description

This is being sent back. The description says "white" but it is not even close to white. It's not even off-white. It is closer to a taupe color. I don't know how well it works because I never got that far.

We are very pleased with our new lamp! It was easy to assemble. I love the fact that it has a dimmer switch! We get a lot of comments about it from our guests. Best of all I can see to read, do my computer work in my living room, and dim the lights for a quieter atmosphere in the evenings!

Good coverage

I bought this lamp because my apartment didn't have an overhead light in the living room. Who thought that was a good idea, I have no clue. Looks nice. I got it for my sectional couch. I had to have my boyfriend set it up because the arms were hard to bend to get it to the position you want. He had to kind of bend them upwards too so that it didn't seem they would hit your head as you sat down. It says it takes ANY 40W bulb. Not quite. Make sure it's the small, small 40W light bulbs that look like larger christmas bulbs. Overall, I really like this lamp. I took a few photos of it. The bottom looks big, but it has to be to support the lamp. I think its best to put behind a sectional couch or any couch. It suits my apartment well!
