Worst experience ever.

Worst experience ever. Product was advertised as Made in USA. This is a cheap piece of junk. It took almost a month to get it delivered. I am very disapointmented with false advertisement. The product I got does not even have a proper packaging. Walmart should never let things like this to happen. I just hope the return won't take this long.

Ordered one thing but got something else

Walmart did NOT send me the product that I ordered!

This is not an EZ-DUZ IT3028 can opener. I just ordered one from Amazon and since this one was cheaper I ordered my daughter one. This is cheaply made and lightweight. The one I got from amazon is heavy and well made and came in a cardboard package. This one came in a plastic bag. Don’t waste your money! Buy from Amazon. I can’t even see an option to return it either so I’m out the cost of the item I guess!!!!

Finally found one that works!!

I have had many many manual and electric can openers. This one finally is one that works! I have arthritis in both thumbs, and this one punctures easily turns easily, and continues on its journey around the can without many stops and starts.

Knock Off

I'm pretty sure this is a knock-off. There was no branding on the packaging or the can opener itself. It feels cheap and flimsy. When ordering, I thought I was getting a great deal, now I know why it was priced lower than every other retailer. It's a fake.

Can’t Even Open a Can? What a Joke!

This can opener is a scam, plain and simple. Not the brand they said it was, and guess what? It can’t even open a can! I’ve had better luck opening cans with a spoon. If you’re in the market for a useless kitchen ornament, this is perfect. Otherwise, save your money and your sanity!

Made in the USA. great handgrips. nice sharp cutting wheel. stays in place as you cut around the top of can. bottle opener shape a bonus, as it can be used to gently open ball home canning lids. I love this can opener.

Simply the best

You would think a good can opener could be bought at the local Walmart or Target store. But I have tried several name brands and none come close to the performance and quality of this USA can opener. I bought 2 a few years ago and both still work better than the name brands that stop working satisfactory after just a few months. I am buying more now as gifts.

Have been enjoying this can opener since it arrived! So smooth while using that it glides effortlessly in circular motions! Cooking isn’t dreaded as much with the right tools available! It actually becomes a joy to do. Wondering why it took me so long to switch and try this one!

BEST manual can opener in the US market!

Best manual can opener on the market today. MADE IN USA like they always have been. The cutting wheel is removable for cleaning and sharpening with a small, fine STEEL file, if necessary. Keep it clean and it will last for YEARS (NOT KIDDING). I still have my 15-year old original; I just ordered two more to give as gifts. Excellent, EXCELLENT product with EXCEPTIONAL American craftsmanship. TRULY STELLAR.

Average product.

It's OK. Average for a can opener. I bought it to replace another brand, practically new, which often doesn't work well the first time - skips over sections of the can or pops right off. I thought that meant my other brand was an inferior product. But this EZ Duz It opener sometimes does the same thing, even though also brand new. I'm starting to believe that it's some cans that are being made differently than they used to be, that it's not the fault of the can openers but rather the cans themselves. Either way, I was disappointed that the EZ Duz It didn't work as flawlessly as some reviews said it did. My guess is that it depends on what brand of cans you're opening, and that some of them are made differently now. Whatever the reason, it's frustrating. Opening cans was a simple endeavor all my life until recently. Something's changed. If it's not the openers, it's the cans.

Best Hand Crank Can Opener I've Ever Used

Top Quality, "Heavy Duty" Can Opener even on Large cans! I recently began buying 4lb cans of Tuna for my 6 cats for the extra juice. I had to wait til this arrived because my electric opener simply couldn't handle the job. This cut so well, I actually had to ease up on the pressure because with other hand openers I've owned, you would really have to squeeze so hard just to get them to cut through the thick metal and eventually the openers would just spin from breaking. Not this one! It works like magic! Cuts like butter and is easy on the hands with much less effort. American made, American Great Product. Don't think I'll have to buy another hand opener for years to come!

What makes it very good is the once common american common sense. As we really no longer work with our hands like the good old days I really notice the china made products are now taking our old place. But they still lack the american ingenuity.Well its A real pleasure to write A review on this product the EZ DUZ IT can opener made here in the USA. It has A larger handle for one thing and the roller cutting disc sure seems larger diameter also. Its finished just rough enough to cut and crimp clean on the roll of the opened lid. Sounds simple but getting things just right is more difficult than it seems sometimes. I will most certainly get some more. A few at the time to have and give to other family members. Its just so nice to get ones hands on something good these days that works and are quality products. Boy what we took for granted in those good old days of past.

You Can Feel the Difference Quality Makes

Shipped fast and arrived securely packed in the box. It's not like it's fragile, but I appreciated that attention to detail. It's not heavy or clunky but feels substantial in the hand. Feels like quality materials instead of cheap plastic. It gets a good firm grip on the can and turns smooth as butter through the lid. Love that it's made in the USA so for the same price point as big box store alternatives I can support American workers and businesses.

A can opener that actually works

I had purchased several can openers locally and they for the most part they wouldn't really open a can. Most times the gear that turns the can would just slip. The only can opener in my house that really works is an old " Swing-Away" that was made in the USA. After doing some research I found out that the new versions of the "Swing-Away"are made out of country and not as good. But I did find out that EZ-DUZ-IT is made in the USA and made in the same factory as the old "Swing-Away's ". This one really works well and I would recommend. One would think it would be a simple thing to just go out and buy a can opener but I found that was not the case.

Ez Duz It #89 Can Opener

Best hand crank can opener I've ever had and used. I really appreciate it as I have nerve damage in my hand I use. It's so simple, easy on my hand, opens every can up great but a few and it's the cans if there is ever where it won't open all the way. Black rubber slips off on one handle sometimes but it slides right back up. Very pleased with it. Got so fed up buying electric ones that didn't last to manual ones that cost just about as much lasting a couple of months. I just rinse it off and lay it flat to dry on a towel. Highly recommend it. Bought direct from the manufacturer, American made another plus.

Excellent high quality precise assembly product

Excellent high quality precise assembly with; a) the teeth of the cogwheels being in perfect alignment when/where they interface with no lateral 'play', and therefore the likelihood of cog slippage is zero; and b) the cutting wheel touches against the serrated feed wheel (when the handles are closed together) - ie. there is no 1-2mm gap between the two - and there is no play (or looseness) of the cutting wheel itself, as there is with many other similar can openers, nor any play (or movement) in the cutting wheel/larger cogwheel assembly. This gives precise, 'same spot each time' can lid cutting, and we only have to cut through the can just once - and we're away. Given the above, no more 2 or 3+ attempts (with choice language expressions of exasperation) to get the blasted can opener to work for you!

Wow!

Opening cans have never been easier! Now I sit around in the evening times opening cans just for fun! I never knew opening cans could be so easy. My wife sometimes asks me to stop wasting food, but then she sees the smile on my face, and she jumps into the enjoy the fun as well. On weekends, the kids even jump in also. We take turns opening cans and sometimes even have speed competitions. I ordered the can opener with the Flaming red handle. My friends are jealous of my can opener! Losers. One may say that I am the can opening hero on my country block. Every once in awhile a neighbor will stop by with one of those large cans to ask for my assistance. They definitely are impressed to see how easily I can remove that lid. This product truly is amazing and has truly transformed my life. Heck, it has transformed my entire family and our relationships with one another! I highly recommend this product to revolutionize your life as well. You too can be happy like me!
