Black is not "bronze"
This was ordered online. It is a nice, good looking, light that arrived in perfect condition. Unfortunately, the metal parts are solid black, no brownishness at all. I will be returning it.
Worth the price for a nice, transitional modernization of old ceiling lights.
A house I will be selling soon, came with two, high quality ceiling lights from the builder. One in the entryway and one at the upstairs stair landing.
Clean & simple
This lamp does make a fashion statement, clean and simple. Not designed with a specific motif in mind but will blend with any and all to provide plenty of illumination where and when it's wanted. Straight forward and simple installation the only problem I had was keeping the shade washers aligned before screwing on the button. The materials and construction are basically what can be expected of today's lighting fixtures.
Nice looking light
This Globe Electric Jones 11 inch light does the trick for our entrance area. There are 2 lights but bulbs are Not included. The max rating is 60 watts, put in 2 LED daylight lights, 9.5 watts with 840 lumens. Plenty of bright light. Might even tone it down a bit.
Nice upgrade
My bedroom closet needed more light and this fixture did the job. Even though the globe is frosted, the light projects ample light for most any room. This light adds a bit of style and will match most decors. I have a low ceiling so the flush mount worked perfectly. Good quality and easy to install. All mounting hardware & screws and wire nuts are included.
