Overall happy- Design could be better

It's a good price considering it's the only laundry hamper I've found anywhere that has three separations. I use mine for whites, colours and darks.

Great idea but has design flaw

Love the idea of this basket with the pull out bags for convenients however it has a slight design flaw.

G'day, just wanted to share my thoughts on this laundry hamper. As a bloke who's fussy about having matching gear in the bedroom, I'm stoked with this purchase. The design's spot on, and the weight of the hoops at the top is just right – easy to pull in and out. The colour's listed as black, but I kind of thinks it’s blue which is perfect for my room.

A Quality Laundry Hamper

I read reviews and watched videos of assembly before making the purchase. It needs some patience and care to assemble but it's ultimately worth it and is a well designed product. The laundry hamper looks very neat and modern, is lightweight and makes it easy to separate laundry. I like that you don’t have to haul the entire basket to the laundry, just take one of the inner bags out. The bags are easy to carry with the handles, and the fabric bags themselves can be removed for cleaning when needed. A quality product from Jospeh Joseph. I think it will last a long time if taken care of. I am glad I made the purchase.

The laundry basket is a wonderful invention with a very elegant design and quick to assemble. We are delighted with how easy it is to sort through the mountains of laundry on a daily basis. The division into three compartments is ideal. The contents of one bag correspond to one load of laundry.

Life-changing

Not having a laugh, this washing basket is genuinely life-changing. If you’re considering it but wondering if it’s worth the price tag… trust me, it is. Having read the reviews before I purchased I thought to myself “Can it really be THAT good?” In short, yes. Currently 8 months pregnant and have a 2 year old at home and now I no longer have to bend down or sort through the washing at lightening speed with eyes on the back of my head in case my toddler draws on the wall or catapults himself onto something sharp…Lift the bag that’s most full, and go. Washings can no longer pile up. I no longer have to THINK about which colour of washing to put on; it’s just obvious. LIFE. CHANGING. Just buy the washing basket, you will not regret it. Ps. Husband said the tip about using the spoon when configuring in one of the other reviews was spot on.

Stylish, sturdy and with great everyday features

The basket comes flat packed in a box, and the engineering behind constructing it is incredible. The hardest part is aligning the fabric to the top and bottom, but then with the included key that tightens the support's gears, the fabric becomes taught and the unit becomes beautifully stable.

A marriage of style and practicality

Laundry baskets are traditionally dull and of inadequate capacity. The range by Joseph Joseph is available in two muted, neutral tones but it is this design, perhaps inspired by Mondrian, that really turns the accepted principle on its head. It has introduced style, design and vivacity to create a product which can be admired in its own right and will complement almost any room colour scheme.

This laundry basket is ok. Would have preferred the item to have already been built for the price. It looks nice but must admit, I thought it would be a little sturdier and have slightly more weight to it. Also I don't agree that it holds a full wash... maybe a small one? It feels cheap but does look smart. I wouldn't say it's worth the price for a washing basket! However I bought this with a gift card I received and thought after reading all the reviews, it would be worth it. If the item hadn't been built, I would have probably returned it.

Not worth it

It’s not as convenient as you think. You put 3 towels in one of the baskets and it’s completely full. I bought the trio - one for blacks, whites and colours - you know the go. I ended up using 1 for everyday clothes because I mix colours, 1 for towels, and 1 for my partners clothes (tradie). This was working well, but they filled up way too easily and I ended up needing my old cheap target one for volume. I got rid of it because the volume is more convenient than the fancy handles. I end up throwing clothes on the floor to sort them out anyway. Plus it’s a bit bigger and takes up more space than a typical skinny one which ends up having more volume than this anyway.

Bit tricky and not picture perfect

I was so excited to receive this product after spending ages deliberating whether it was worth the price tag! I've had my old faithful cheap laundry basket for about 10-12 years and wanted to finally upgrade. I saw all these beautiful images of this online and figured I'd splash out... the delivery came and I took time to assemble it, firstly the outer layer was very tricky and someone who isn't particularly dexterous would definitely struggle getting this attached. With some patience I got it on and began folding the seams over the rim as per the instructions and got it fully assembled to find that I hadn't completely centralised the rear seam and the front logo so had to go back and undo all the work and restart!!! Which wasn't easy the first time but I got there. Now each time I've put it back together the outer part doesn't really even sit smoothly (as it appears in the images online) there are lumps and bumps in places I can't seem to smooth out no matter how hard I try, and with the colour and texture of the material it I'd rather obvious. However the good points are that yes it will hold my washing and separate it all into easy loads but am I 100% satisfied given the amount spent on this item... unfortunately not! Could I have spent a lot less and expected something similar... yes! I was hoping to be completely wowed... yet I am just borderline pleased!

really upsetting. bad customer service. do not buy from this company

payed over $100 for a laundry hamper that isn’t the best quality. i wanted to return it and the company does not have an easy return policy AND they make you pay for return shipping… which is so ridiculous for a higher price point item. it will cost me $80 to ship this back. which is only $30 less than what the hamper costs.

Laundry Basket

Having done a lot of research on various laundry baskets on the market I opted for this model . It's beautiful and functional just as you would expect from this brand .

This did not disappoint! Assembly seemed complicated at first but was actually pretty quick even with a toddler “helping” me. It’s really well engineered and looks flawless. I was worried the fabric and pole skeleton would become a toddler magnet and just get destroyed but it’s actually super sturdy and he has become a big fan of helping put laundry inside it, he’s of course not super gentle with it and it is just fine. He loves how the lid fits perfectly in place every time. Really pleased with the size and how easy to carry the individual bags are. It holds a lot and being able to sort into my 3 typical loads saves me a lot of time. The handle on the bottom of each bag is a feature I never knew I needed.

AMAZING!!! I love this laundry basket. It’s a game changer. Laundry is so much more fun now. I love how everyone sorts their own clothes into the 3 baskets (1 for light clothes, 1 for dark clothes and 1 for dry cleaning or other special cleaning). Then when one of the baskets is full I know it’s time to wash that colour. So easy to carry downstairs with the handles and then the handle on the bottom to empty the basket. It also looks fabulous. Only tiny issue was our first Evri delivery person said they delivered and didn’t. I contacted Joseph Joseph and they sent a replacement straight away. Amazing customer service.

Almost makes washing fun and satisfying!

I'm loving the three different segments to sort into, I'm not a clean freak or anything however this has made washing not only easier, but dare I say almost satisfying! I originally purchased the two segment one but soon realised I needed a colour one too so upgraded to three, although do note, this makes the entire unit a lot bigger so just on the edge of what looks okay in small bathroom. Looks good however.
