Bad buy

The chair lasted 2 months and then the piston attacment to the seat broke. Off to the garbage.

Really does look like an "executive chair".

Great quality and nice looking. Adjustable, making it easy to find your personal comfort. Rolls easily. Picture of chair is accurate, except wooden arms on my chair are more golden in color.

It's smaller and less luxe that I expected.

The chair is fine and it will adequately serve the purpose, but I expected a larger, more luxurious chair for the price. The chair was well padded and protected in the shipping box. The chair arrived largely assembled. The only assembly required was inserting the casters into the base, then inserting the base into the chair. No tools were needed and it took less than five minutes to assemble. The leather is nice quality, but I was surprised to see a zipper up the back. It's not upholstered; it's a slipcover of some kind. Maybe that means the manufacturer sells replacement covers, which would be nice. The metal base of my chair had several chips in the paint, but they don't show when it's in use. The casters are plastic and look very cheap. The largest surprise to me was the small size. I would not recommend this chair if you are a larger person. If you are over about 160 pounds or have a large backside, this chair may be uncomfortable for you. Overall, it's a decent desk chair for a smaller person, but it's a bit overpriced for the quality.

Furniture Grade, Above Average and Comfy!!!

The quality of this chair is great. It is comfortable and sturdy. It roles well on my hard wood floor. Height can be adjusted perfectly to fit as needed. Looks very nice and goes with my office decor perfectly. Would highly recommend to someone looking for a office chair that is furniture grade! Not cheap at all, very well made.

Soft genuine leather and vintage industrial look

loved my chair. Changing my home office furniture for a vintage industrial look, chair is exactly as described. Great buy worth the money

Good looking Office Chair.

I really wanted to love this chair as the distressed look really fitted into my decor. The quality of the leather was good, however my chair arrived with the adjustable knob broken. I would of ordered it again, however I didnt like the light wood on the arms. On a whole this s a good looking chair if you want that rustic look.

Broke after a year of light use

Love this chair, very comfortable and high quality. It was easy to put together. Ensure you tighten the mechanism under the chair so the "release" catches to raise and lower the seat. Had to edit this review, after a year o flight use, the chair has broken, due to the mechanism the chair sits on. Very disappointing for such an expensive chair. Update 3/26/2001, was able to find a replace part for about *** . This is the part you need to get "Replacement Office Chair Tilt Control Seat Mechanism w/ 3.8" x 7.2" Mounting Holes- S4264-1"; and can be bought from *** . Very easy to replace. As the vendor ACME did not respond to my request after several attempts.
