Online description incorrect.

Not impressed at all! Thickness of a blanket not a bedspread. Color not accurate it looks like a blanket not a bedspread. Wish i could return it for the price that I paid could have gotten something much nicer!

Good Quality.

Ordered the blue bedspread. Quality is good, not quite as thick as I expected but I like it. You have to wash and put in the dryer before you use it and that plumps up the chenille. Check the dryer lint vent often while drying, it creates alot of lint.

Bedspread sheds worse than a pet!!

I have had this since end of November. We noticed red fuzz everywhere. I dusted everywhere and figured once it was washed it would stop shedding. The washer and dryer were full of fuzz; and it is still shedding. Don't waste your money!!

Bedspread looks nice.

Bought for my mom. She was looking for a bedspread that was not thin or too short and this worked great. I didn't realize how challenging finding a bedspread vs a comforter or quilt was. She already is wanting me to order her another color or design if I can find one.

The quality was terrible worse purchase I ever made. Very disappointed and dissatisfied. It sheaded. Awful...

I got the pale yellow in this set and absolutely love it. I am using as an accent color to a Buffalo check comforter set. Super cute!

Homey looking, classic, easy to care for Chenille

I purchased this chenille style bedspread in a twin size for my guest bedroom in the light sage color. It has a classic look and I put a folded family quilt at the foot of the iron antique bed. It looks homey" and inviting. It washes up very easily since it's not a heavy fabric. I'd buy it again.

beautiful but thin

Have a yorkie that sleeps with me. Had another heavier spread on top of it. It is a very thin spread and she managed to rip a whole in it through the other spread just playing in the bed with me. Beautiful to look at but will not hold up if you have pets.

just right

Beautiful shade of yellow. Using as a lightweight throw. It hardly shed at all when washed. I would purchase again and am considering making curtain panels out of twin sizes. I love the texture. It's easily done by sewing a curtain header on the top & use rings with clips.

What has happened to bedding? Don't rely on the photo.

This bedspread is a lovely color (we got the blue) and is indeed thin as others have stated. It drapes nicely and doesn't particularly wrinkle. It might be fine in warm weather, but is no warmer than a second sheet. But the sizing... We have a Cal King, which is narrower and longer than a regular King. The King bedspread will NOT reach the floor as shown in the photos-not even close. This spread is just wide enough to cover the sides of the top mattress and about halway down the box spings. So if you have a single mattress on a platform or a bed frame that obscures the box spring, this could be tucked in. And our mattress is 4" >narrower< than a regular King. Don't be fooled by the photo.

Definitely had to wash it immediately. Had a very strong smell but 2 cups of baking soda with the soap and vinegar in the rinse did the trick. Super soft and exactly what i wanted. Lots of shedding but that is characteristic to chenille.

Quality doesn't match the cost

This bedspread didn't fit as I expected. We have a queen size bed and it didn't hit the floor, was about 4" short on either side. I bought it in lieu of a bedskirt, so that was a very important feature. It did fit lengthwise though. Material was very lightweight, making it difficult to smooth over the blanket underneath. The picture represented a cleaner look. Color was a bit more of a dark purplish blue, not darker navy blue. It also had an odd chemical odor. I've always been a fan of JP Penney bedding products, but this one really missed the mark.

Great value

I love that this bedspread is oversized. It fits the deep mattress and box spring very well. If find the bedspread to have a more masculine look which works well for my sons room.

Disappointed

The picture shows a nice thick bedspread with the chenille almost touching with fluffiness. The package I received had very short chenille (about 1/8 of an inch tall) and the rows were an inch apart. It was more empty space than chenille. I am returning it. It was not as pictured. Great communication from Overstock.com by text, email and phone.

I bought the light blue and the light green bedspreads. Wasn’t sure which color I would prefer in our room. Unfortunately I returned both. The colors were very dull and dingy, not at all bright and cheery as shown. These are most definitely light weight, quite thin actually.

Better Trends Jillian Chenille Bedspread

I love it! It doesn't have all the fringe around the bottom of it like most chenille bedspreads have making it heavy therefore it's lighter and washes up and dries beautifully. I brought the dark gray (king size) and it is true to its color as shown in the picture. I will be able to use this all year round. Great deal for the price.

Just wash it first

Make sure you wash it first. I put it directly on the bed and it smelled really bad and I had to wash everything else and air out the room. But I really love it so much I know it’s thin and people are complaining about it being thin but know what you’re buying this is what I wanted and what I was looking for. I
