I am so happy there is a 2nd set of these Dinos. We have the first set and my 2 year old was getting really good at naming all of the different ones so we got the second set. Good quality!

PERFECT FOR DINOSAUR LOVING GRANDSON.

THIS WAS A CHRISTMAS GIFT FOR MY 2 YR OLD GRANDSON. HE WAS OVER THE MOON WHEN HE OPENED IT. THE DINOSAURS ARE A GREAT SIZE FOR 2 YR OLD HANDS... RETURNED A DIFFERENT SET OF DINOSAURS THAT WERE TOO SMALL AND CONTAINED SO MANY OTHER PARTS AND PIECES HE WOULDN'T USE.

Fun Dinosaurs

These dinosaurs are great for our two year old boy. They are big and sturdy and can withstand his rough play. We have even found our older boys playing with them.

Very good quality, nice colors

My granddaughter opened this for Christmas she was so excited. She squealed with excitement. She played with them all morning.

Recommend this dinosaur set for young children

I bought this for my great-nephew's 3rd birthday and he was very excited and happy with the set. They are a good larger size, colorful, and details like eyes are nicely painted on. The dinosaurs have subtle friendly expressions on their faces, unlike some toy dinosaurs which can look a bit scary. So, it's nice for smaller children. They are of good quality plastic, not cheap or chintzy. They do smell chemically at first, but the smell went away. A brief pamphlet comes with talking about each dinosaur.

Never Arrived

I really liked the first set of Learning Resources dinosaurs that I ordered. They were well made and my grandson was thrilled with them. This item, the 2nd set of dinos, never arrived. I didn't notice until after the 30 days due to all the holiday packages arriving at the same time.

Love these!

My sons LOVE these dinosaurs! They are a hard plastic, excellent quality, and very durable. My sons have been playing with them non-stop. They like how they are over-sized, it makes them easy for little hands, and different than your average dinosaur toy. We just love these!

Dinosaurs, Dinosaurs

These dinosaurs are amazing. My preschoolers love them. We have some dinosaurs in our classroom but these have become their favorites. They love that they are bigger, textured, and more realistic than most of our other dinosaurs. They are durable and have taken some crashes as the children use their imaginations to make them act like real dinosaurs. They have put the pteranodon in a tinkertoy tree and built caves for the apatosaurus, spinosaurus, ankylosaurus, and parasaurolophus. There is a lot of imaginary play and social interaction between the students as they play with these dinosaurs. I would recommend this set of dinosaurs to family and friends looking for a great toy! I was given this toy as part of an incentivized review program.

Super fun Dinosaurs!

My 6 year old plays with these for hours! The dinosaurs are sturdy and can withstand the "rough play" my he puts them through, let's face it, dinosaurs fight :) I love that a description of the dinosaurs is included in the box, I just would have liked for them to have a picture of them next to the description. In order for my son to accurately name the dinosaurs, we googled the names. This lead to watching videos of the dinosaurs to try and get an idea of what they might have sounded like. It was a nice way to really put my sons imagination to work! The sturdy box makes a great place to store the dinosaurs when they are not in play!

Great for the Imagination

My 3 year old daughter absolutely loved these dinosaurs! She is very creative and has outstanding imaginary play skills. These dinosaurs played along with her princesses and barbies. The toys are very durable and will be played with for years to come!

YIKES - more jumbo dinosaurs!!!

Great fun especially for kiddos who are intrigued by dinosaurs and have a love of these prehistoric critters. Great companion to the Jumbo Dinosaurs: Mommas and Babies and Jumbo Dinosaurs (first set) - also sold by Learning Resources. All of the creatures are very realistic!

Great toy for imaginative play

I got these dinosaurs for my two 18 month old and three year old granddaughters. The dinosaurs came in a sealed plastic bag within a nice, brightly colored, sturdy box. The box is great to store the dinosaurs in. My three year old granddaughter was especially excited to open the plastic package, but after doing so we noticed a very strong, unpleasant odor. However, after letting the dinosaurs air out the odor dissipated. The dinosaurs are very sturdy and easy for little hands to hold on to. My three year old granddaughter really enjoyed playing with them. The Pteranodon is her favorite. My 18 month granddaughters were not too interested in playing with them; but then again they are just a tad too young for these. I see these dinosaurs lasting for a very long time, and I'm sure they will come in handy when the children are older and are learning about dinosaurs in school. They are fun and educational, and help children use their imaginations. I would definitely recommend these.

You can't go wrong with jumbo dinosaurs!

When my children (ages almost 2 through 9) saw the box of jumbo dinosaurs, they were so excited, they wanted to open it and play immediately. Every one of them. The box, like most LR boxes, is sturdy, with a brightly colored and accurate picture of what is inside, and just the right size to reuse for storage. When we opened the box, the dinosaurs were further wrapped in clear plastic bags. I opened the bags, but immediately smelled strong paint-like fumes. Fortunately, after we aired out the dinosaurs for just a few minutes, the fume smell was gone, and the kids started playing. There are 5 dinosaurs in this box, each a different, bright color made of strong plastic. The largest, Apatosaurus, is probably the largest dinosaur toy my kids have (and we have a lot!). It is over a foot long from nose to tail. The set also contains a Spinosaurus, Ankylosaurus, and Parasaurolophus. The smallest of the 5 is a Pteranodon. The set comes with an instruction booklet, though the toys are perfect for open ended, imaginative play without any set instructions. The booklet gives some helpful tips for times you might want to direct children's play, and also some information about the dinosaurs (e.g. types of food they eat). My kids have gone back to these dinosaurs again and again during the few weeks we've had them. They build different habitats for them, sometimes the dinosaurs fight each other,sometimes play with them with the train set or other random toys, and the Apatosaurus has also taken a field trip to the local library, where my two year old "fed" him from the ground cover outside. These are truly great for kids who love dinosaurs, and even those with a mild interest in them. They're a great size, and are strong, and will withstand a lot of use. They're perfect for open ended and imaginative play, and can be great learning tools, too. I would definitely recommend these!

My 2yr old and 7 yr old love them.

My daughters love them. The only thing I would recommend is adding pictures of each of the dinosaurs next to the descriptions in the guide. As I was reading the info about each one, I had a hard time figuring out what dinosaur it went with. Other than that my kids love playing with them even at their varied ages.

Lovw These Dinosaurs!

I ordered Jumbo Dinosaurs Set 2 and couldn't be happier. The dinosaurs came in a great box that is very sturdy. When my kids aren't playing with the dinosaurs, I use the box to store them in. I love the animals so much from Learning Resources! I have two other sets of animals that I have ordered in the past and they are played with everyday. I knew these dinosaurs would also be a hit. They are and the kids love them.

Durable, Imaginative, Fun!

These big guys are a lot of fun to play with. Our 2 year old liked to make up what kinds of sounds he thought they would make and had them do lots of talking to one another. It was helpful to have the Activity Guide, as, unfortunately, I am not a dinosaur expert. It helped to have something easily available to give additional learning points.

great imagination set

my son loves dinosaurs, we were playing for hours. These helped him with his imagination making up scenes. we also used these for education as well. he will name the dinosaurs, call out the colors and describe how they look.

Jumbo Dinosaurs

These dinosaurs are great for both boys and girls. After watching Jurassic Park, the kids were able to actually see the dinosaurs they were familiar with and feel a since of closeness to the dinosaurs. They were play fighting with each other and the older children actually got to interact as well. Great item for both young and old.
