Drymate Jumbo Ridged Cat Litter Trapping Mat - exactly as I needed

This mat is exactly what I needed. It collects the litter as the cats are leaving the box and I just do a quick vacuum once a week to keep things nice and tidy in their little corner of the basement. We recently just took in and tamed a feral kitten that we trapped in our yard, bring our total of indoor cats to 3. We've never had this many pets, so anything that makes life a little easier is most welcomed, and this mat is making life a little easier and cleaner.

Well worth the money!! Love it!

I really like the new mat. My older cat had an accident on it and I was able to soak it up easily and spray some disinfectant on it afterwards. It didn’t soak through and there is no smell. I have recommended it and will again! Great size too!

Backing falling apart

Having 3 cats, it's hard to keep their potty room clean. We bought 2 of these to rotate. I recommend hosing them off to clean. The backing of 1 is already falling apart. We've only had them 6 months.

Great mat

I purchased the litter trapping mat in jumbo size to prevent litter mess by litter pan. It is a great size and looks good. Does prevent the spreading of litter by my furbabies. Had a smaller size but the jumbo is much more helpful with litter messes. May purchase another for another litter pan. Best mat ever!

Easy to cut down

I needed a Litter Mat that I could cut down to fit in a particular, narrow spot. Many other, more "complex" Mats cannot be cut down without causing extreme problems to those Mats.

Great Litter Mat!

Finally a mat that is "as advertised!" It's big enough to catch all the castoff, and my cat is really messy! It's thin enough that I can sweep litter off of it instead of having to move the box and pick it up. A huge time savings and a great help to my back

Very disappointed

I had purchased this mat in a slightly smaller size and loved it. Mater of fact I still have and it been washed numerous times. I bought this jumbo one and loved the size but the first time I washed it, the backing came off. I washed it in gentle and did not put it in the dryer. It was a waste! Such a shame because I loved the previous one.

Best one, so far

I’ve tried pretty much every litter mat available & this one seems to be the best for my cats so far! Easily vacuums using my Shark Vertex (the mat doesn’t get sucked into the vacuum like the others mats) & cleans up easily. Haven’t washed it yet, but I think it should be easy to clean with a hose & some Simple Green (unlike the chenille microfiber mat I bought earlier). Expect that it will dry quickly since it is not thick. Easily trimmed to fit the space I needed it for.

Practical for Us

This is great for us, I like vacuuming up extra litter and this allows me to do that. Keeps the litter away from the hallway which we enjoy. Only downside is, it slides, you need to litter box heavy enough and sitting right onto so it doesn't move. Sometimes when vacuuming it over it moves as well. Wish it included grippers, I will have to buy separately.

Does a good job, but beware of machine washing

Does a good job of controlling urine, which is mainly what I bought it for.

Useless

Not sure if we just received an old or returned product but this may has none of the ridges described. It's completely flat. The backing was also dusty when first unwrapped. As is, there's no effect at all and litter is scattered across the floor. It's also hard to clean.

Love This Mat

I have two cats who use the same litter box. They kick a lot of litter out for some reason even with the deep box I use. I bought this mat because of the size. I am extremely happy with the size but the bonus is the top side is like carpet and is so easy to clean. I am so very pleased with this product and highly recommend it.

Excellent Litter Mat

I placed this large mat underneath two litter pans. It traps litter, which is easy to either sweep off or vacuum. The mat is water resistant and very easy to clean. Another great purchase from Chewy!!

It works!

Happy I selected this mat to accommodate the corner box I purchased for our cat.

Great Litter Trap

We have a 3 legged cat at home(Missing his left rear leg) +4 more cats that tends to sit in the box to do his #1 and tends to get litter stuck to his fur so this does a great job of knocking that off and catching it before he tracks it throughout the house. It doesn't get EVERYTHING but it has definitely made a very noticable difference. Only real downside is the mat tends to pull up off the floor as it doesn't stick well, but that's just an adjustment to tuck it back under boxes and it's good to go so not a deal breaker by any means.

It was pretty good, until someone peed on it

At first, I was happy with this mat. It looked nice, was the right size, and did a decent job of trapping most of the litter from our cats' paws, Unfortunately, one of our cats decided to pee on it. I thought this would be no problem, as the mat is supposed to be machine washable. I soaked it in Anti-Icky-Poo for a while, rinsed it off, and washed it on gentle in the machine. I read some reviews saying the backing didn't hold up well, but I didn't see any issues after washing it. I line-dried it for a while and. to get it completely dry. then ran it in the dryer for 15 minutes on air dry (no heat). It looked fine when I took it out. The problem? It still reeked of cat urine.

Love this mat!!

I was looking for an xl litter mat that is large enough to cover an area beside our huge litterbox. This mat fits great! Our larger cat wasn’t fitting in normal size litter boxes so we had to get him a plastic tub. Unfortunately litter was going all over our wooden floor. This mat covers a large area and my cats do t jump over it. The mat we had previously the cats would jump over because they didn’t like how it felt on their paws. Definitely a win!! Plus, it’s made in the USA.

Great Litter Mat

I want to start off by saying I've owned a LOT of mats for litter boxes over the years. I've had the sturdy gorilla pads - and don't get me wrong, those are awesome, but they trap the litter so well that when it comes time to clear them, it's almost impossible to get all the trapped litter out of them. I would have to hose them off.

Overpriced with minimal effectiveness

While I appreciate there are many types of litter catching mats, this is not one I would highly recommend. I thought based on the high price point, reviews and product description the mat would work great, however I was sadden to see first hand that it functions no better than a low pile carpet. I didn’t find this litter mat to be effective as others did and was disappointed based on the high cost. If you are looking for just a liquid proof mat this is a good option. If you are looking for a good litter catching mat, I would recommend you keep searching.

Jumbo size is the only plus

Jumbo size is a plus in my very active multi-cat household. The Mats do not stay in place, the Mats moves easily and frequently on the tile floor. The Litter Boxes slide easily on the Mat surface, to the point of almost tipping over.
