This was a cute idea but the product looked slightly different than the images online. The design color was more splotches in black color accents opposed to looking more rustic like the online image. I wish they did offer larger sizes for this because it's smaller in person.

Huge disappointment

This item looks nothing like it was described or shown as. It is a flimsy piece of sheet metal, sort of painted. It is not soldered together properly, the little "planter" is barely attached. There were no instructions nor hardware included. Nothing to even say what weight it can hold as far as a plant. This is definitely one that dereved a one star.

Nothing like the photo

I bought this about three weeks ago, and what came looks absolutely nothing like the picture. It has no depth whatsoever and looks like rust with some strange pattern on it. Never would have bought it if it looked like that in the picture.

This planter looks good. The rust look is painted on so I'm not sure how long that would last. Its also a little spotty. Also, finish is not smooth but rather grainy. Not a big deal for me but refer to the pictures to see for yourself.

In person it doesn't look like picture. Rust finished material with black circles randomly sprayed, no depth in paint at all

This is made well enough, but it doesn’t look like the picture. It looks like someone did a bad job spray painting it. It doesn’t look rusty or weathered.

Not as pictured

I bought one of these from zulily a few years ago. It's great quality, with thick metal and real distressing. This new version is both unattractive and of poor

The metal is actually painted to look like copper so I was a little disappointed in the finish. Very thin also but I will secure it to the wall so it doesn’t bend or rattle.

Not as pictured.

This is not as pictured. It has several black spray paint blotches on it to appear textured. I saw this exact description in reviews where this is sold elsewhere, but I was hoping it would arrive as pictured. Not the case.

Ordered this to hang on my new patio. It’s beautiful and the perfect size to plant a few herbs! So happy

Ugly

Doesn’t look anything like the picture. I expected it to be rusted. Instead just spray painted with secondary round spots of spray paint. Yuck

We received this planter a few weeks ago and I must say it's Extremely disappointing! Looks like something I made in metal shop in junior high! The "rust finish " is Nonexistent. The piece is spray painted brown with more spray paint in black splotches in a poor attempt to give the piece that rusty aged look. Definitely wish i could return it. We are going to paint ourselves and turn it into an attractive planter.

Looks nothing like online picture

The metal appears painted a solid golden brown then sprayed with splotches of black. It looks nothing like the online photo of varied shades of rusty colors and aged metal with iridescent areas. It’s so ugly! Returning these!

DUPED

I am actually happy I was sent the request to review before getting to it myself. I have never reviewed a product ever & I’m 55 yrs. old. I ordered this for my daughter who’s in her own apt at University...she loves plants & has a bunch....thought for her bday I wld surprise her w/this to put on her wall. My child thought it was a gag gift!!! She took a picture of what she rcvd & I sent her a pic of what was ordered....no resemblance whatsoever. It looks as if it was made in a pre-k arts & craft class. If I cld upload the pictures here I would. Come on Zulily....I’ve ordered from you guys for years....what is going on????

Perfect, looks amazing, using it as succulent planter and put house number on it. Looks very rustic chic.

...but not great. Well made and such a cool idea, but the finish does not look like the unique patina shown in the picture. It is a spray painted rust color with little to no variation. Still, with plants or bills or messages held with a magnet, it is a unique piece.

Not what I expected

The picture makes it look really cool. It looks a little rusty and I could picture some succulents dripping over the edge of the flower box. I imagined putting our house numbers on it. I was disappointed to unwrap flimsy metal with “rust” badly painted on it. You can see two black circles that had hastily been spray painted on, just squirt, squirt. And the planter box should have a hole in the bottom for drainage.
