Heavy wood bed frame!Really difficult to assemble
I did not do my homework on this purchase! It is heavy and very difficult and time consuming to assemble. Slats are unfinished, rough wood with stapled-on strings holding slats together. Staples and/or rough wood would probably tear mattress material. Requires an electric drill to drill wood screws into every other slat!?! What the heck? Expensive for the poor quality materials and difficult, time consuming assembly. Give me a break!
Great bed frame!
It’s very pretty exactly the kind of floating bed frame I wanted. Only thing I would say is that you have to tuck in your bedding in order to see the frame and I don’t like that you can see the slats around the mattress I have a full and it almost seems like a queen could fit. Other than that the walnut color looks so expensive especially with the matching nightstand. And you can’t beat the price. Oh and it came in super fast!
Avoid, unless you like dealing with headaches.
This bed has some serious quality control problems. If I wasn't a woodworker, I would have had to return it. I can't believe a company sends products out like this. Firstly, the slats were all at least a quarter of an inch too long. I had to take them to my chop saw and cut them down so they fit in the frame. Additionally, the headboard (which is MDF not solid wood like the salesperson stated) was cracked. I had to repair it with some glue and clamps. If you don't have these things, then you're out of luck. Lastly, some of the threaded inserts were clogged with epoxy, so there's no way you can thread the screw in. I had to drill out the inserts to be useable. What a joke. Nobody should have to do this. It took WAY TOO LONG. Baxton Studio peddles garbage. Plain and simple.
