Bought and hung these "blackout curtains". The picture is of this item, even with the blinds beneath the curtains closed, and there is still a good amount of light coming through the curtains.

NOT WASHABLE

Silly me, since the description says indoor/outdoor I assumed they would be washable. Also nowhere in the description or other reviews is washability discussed. Upon opening the pack after quite awhile the tag inside says dry clean only. Really? That's ridiculous for 100% polyester. These are going to replace some kitchen cabinet doors so there will be messes. I plan to wash them gentle cycle and hang dry with my fingers crossed. Glad they were on sale.

Not what they seem

Measurement for the width is 52 not 54 and the curtains had very strong funky smell to them.

Beautiful but thick/heavy polyester fabric

Unfortunately, I did not pay attention to the material of these when I ordered them - while they are beautiful in terms of being true to color and a nice pattern, the fabric (100% polyester) to me feels like a vinyl shower curtain. Not quite the soft cotton fabric curtains I had in mind. That said, I imagine they would be very successful at light blocking since they're so heavy, or possibly could make good outdoor curtains if that's what you're looking for. Mine arrived in the correct length, so no issues there for me.

The panels are not the same length. I got the 63 in ones for our Master bath and it looks terrible that they are not even. its a beautiful curtain but poor workmanship.

Wonderful

We LOVE these new curtains. They are definitely blackout! They have the look of linen but are a soft polyester fabric. I wish they were made a in a shorter length, I may be hemming them soon!

Totally blocks out 100% of sunshine and keeps the room cool.

Not what I ordered

Received my order after patiently waiting for over two weeks only to be extremely disappointed. The design is not the same and the curtains are more of a creamy gray color, not white at all.

Great curtain except for blemish on one panel

I ordered these curtains for the edges of my bay window in the Turquoise color and LOVE the color...they really make the window stand out in the room against white trim. The curtains are well-made and the fabric is great...they are not flimsy at all and have a linen look to them. I was so happy with them until I went to iron them to hang them up. Unfortunately, one of the curtain panels has what seems to be dark black blemish or hole in it, which is why I am only giving it three stars. A new set of curtains should not be damaged. It is a third-party seller, not Target itself, so would be a hassle to return.

If you're looking for a soft cotton feel for curtains, these are not it, however functionality is stellar. Blocks out noon Florida sunlight from our two story windows perfectly.
