Heavy, Sturdy and Looks beautiful

This furniture piece although is not real wood is not thin composite...it is heavy duty and looks beautiful. Took my 16 year old son 3 hrs to assemble and the only problem at times was the holes for the doles were a little small sometimes and he had to cut them down a little to fit.

Faux wood, but sturdy

The desk has a great look, however it's not real wood, the reclaimed look is faux wood, and it seems like it could peel/rip easily. Wish the area for the chair between the cabinets was a little wider, although that cabinets are roomy and can store a lot of stuff. Structure is very sturdy, so overall very happy with the desk!

Stylish and sturdy desk! Just bought a home and creating my own office space. This desk is stylish and very sturdy. Not too difficult to assemble. Excellent height for sitting and I also added a standup desk topper. Love this desk.

Desk arrived in about 1 1/2 weeks on Thanksgiving weekend so was excited to have the time to build. The directions are awesome. Certainly didn't take the "60 minutes" they said it would, more like a couple hours, but I worked slow and sure and all went together very smoothly. I love this desk. It is solid and looks great in my little nook. Most worried about the drawers but they work smooth as silk. I opted for glass knobs I had in the house to give it a more eclectic look. Heading out today to buy those special touches to make it sparkle!

Delivery was within a week. In fact, so quick we weren't quite ready for it. Completely as advertised. Good quality, nice and solid and easy to put together. Looks great in the room.

There is nothing “salvaged” about this desk. I’m not sure it’s actually wood. The “wood pattern” you see has been photo printed on the hard surfaces. And, it took us hours to assemble. Would not recommend.

Good for the money but not what I thought

I like this desk but it is not exactly what I thought I was getting. For the money, it is not bad at all and it looks nice but I didn't realize that the covering was completely particle board. The pictures make it appear to have texture and distinction between each of the different faux wood pieces but it does not; it is completely flat. It also took me over five hours to put together and I am pretty handy and used a drill. If you had to use only a screw driver and the provided Allen Wrench it would take even longer.

Would buy again

Love the quality - exactly what I expected for the price. Despite some other reviews, I actually found the assembly instructions to bethorough.
