Good Deal!!

This curtain rod came very well packaged and it definitely goes across my 84 inch window with a few inches to spare so that it’ll stay nice and tight with the spring action. It was easy to assemble really not much to do at all and it worked out just as I had hoped it would!

The rod worked perfect for its intended use to put a valance at my cut up window between the kitchen and the living room

This isn't a squish together type tension rod, per se. You get a little square with a screw to tighten the spring down inside the rod. Now I don't accidentally pull the rod off of the window when I open the curtains. Nice. I actually had to read the directions, they are simple, and it only took a minute to put the rod up.

Defective tension rod

A different item was sent. I tried returning at the store because it was stated returns could be done at the store - Walmart would not allow me to return because the receipt I had on my phone the bar code did not match on the item (again a different item was sent to me). The rod was defective, I couldn’t separate the rods in order to attach the spring. I will never buy anything from Walmart again.

Pass up this tension rod

Hated it. I had to " assemble" the spring workings. Took half a dozen times to get it right and get it in place. Not much give. Not like usual tension rods where you "turn it" to tighten. Got the curtain on it, and within 30 sec was on the floor. Going back tomorrow. Piece of junk.

Curtain rod is good but.....

While it is easy to assemble as I have used this type before that requires a screw, nut and spring as it is sturdy, the directions could make it a difficult task as the pictures do not match the worded directions. AND, the screw that came with this rod was bad (stripped my husband said) and would not go all the way through the nut. After a long search through myriad cans of such things in the garage, a trip back to the hardware store was required. It took a long time to finally find something that would suffice and thankfully, the staff was ever so patient in solving the problem. SO CHECK THE SCREW AND NUT before you leave the store. Otherwise, the rod works well and stays in place to holding tiered curtains, valances and the like, and most likely be able to hold medium weight curtains

Received damaged items

I have this style of curtain rods that I like. Very disappointed that I received these that were obviously damaged when placed in the box!

Wouldn’t recommend

I couldn’t even get the piece inside extender out and cut myself trying to do so. Will be returning. Found a simple tendon rod that looks much better quality right in the store for half the price.

Master the exact numbers on window and rod before you tighten the screw.When on the wall ,the rod firmily on. Id buy another.

The curtain rod was just what I wanted. I would have preferred being able to buy it at the store instead of ordering it online. It comes with a screw and nut for the tension. The nut had no threads in it and I could not get the screw into the nut. Very frustrating and I couldn’t just go back to the store to get another one
