I love the look of this rug. But, it’s a nightmare. It has filled the Dyson canister each time I’ve vacuumed it. There are tumbleweeds just rolling around the house. Awful, don’t do it. There won’t be any rug left in @ 3 more vacuums

Gorgeous but sheds too much

It is a beautiful rug, exactly as shown in the picture. But the elevated shags shed nonstop, making the living room area look messy and unkept. A shame because it is otherwise a great rug.

I was so excited about this rug when I got it in. It was perfect and just what I was looking for, BUT we finally moved into our new home and got it down to find I am SO disappointed the shedding is TERRIBLE!!! Nothing we did worked to stop it and it continued to shed. Will not continue to keep in my house. Looks like we have 5 long haired dogs running around and we have not one. All over the couch, floors, and even sticks to your socks. So disappointed I spent so much money on this :(

Sheds really bad

Oh my goodness this rug is a nightmare. It has been 6 months since purchasing and placing it in my beautiful living room, this rug keeps shedding to the extreme. Broke my *** dollar vacuum with its shedding. The dry cleaners even declined washing it for me. Just all around waste of money *** dollar rug, *** dollar vacuum, had to purchase another vacuum *** total cost *** for a rug I had to take to the dump today. Not happy!

This rug I bought in the 9X12. I was hesitant but so happy I made this purchase. The rug is exceptionally made and soft to the feet (I was expecting it to be too stiff with it being the wool blend). Very Bohoish…. But very rich colors. Definitely a conversation piece as everyone loves it and asks where I got it. So it definitely makes a statement! Definitely recommend

Love this Rug!! It is gorgeous and adds great texture to my neutral room. The colors are true to the picture. Super cozy. I am a Designer and I would recommend this to a client.

Don't Walk, RUN to the Checkout!

Trust me when I say, this rug may be the most beautiful rug you've ever seen in your life. It adds so much depth to your room. I am a giant fan of decorating with texture and this rug is perfect for that! The colors are true to the pictures (thank God because this was my final piece of my room makeover and I had painted according to the pics). It is heavy and brilliant. I was a little nervous when I opened it and laid it out, it is 100% wool so the fibers were flying and the taller portions were looking decently matted. I slowly vacuumed each area in different directions on the tallest setting and then again 1 setting shorter and no more flying fibers (I think I emptied my vacuum canister 6 or 7 times). Also it combed out the longer pieces of wool perfectly. I knew it was true love the minute I got the first quarter vacuumed. I bought the 10x14 and the runner and this may be one of my favorite home purchases ever. In a surprising move, I ended up deciding to lay the runner over the back of the couch because I was initially going to position my furniture differently when I first ordered them and decided against it, and that turned out super cool also. Consider the details!

So disappointed ! I loved the photos and the description, so I ordered the 8 x 10 version. 1. Opened the packaging and there was a very strong odor. 2. the texture of carpet (brown) was very rough, scratchy. 3. the ivory color was marked with yellowed wool and sparse. 4. very loosely woven. If you are looking for a very primitive organic rug this is it, Not sure I would recommend for indoor use.

MY FAVORITE RUG EVER!

I love this rug so much! It is more beautiful in person and the textures and colors are incredible! Excellent quality and I wish it came in a larger size for my living room! Just love this rug so much!

Lovely hand knotted tribal rug with a captivating southwestern design. The muted warm colors add a cozy and earthy feel to our living space. The rug combines artistic beauty with functionality. As with several of our Safavieh rugs, it has continued to shed, long after purchase, but a regular vacuum keeps it looking clean and new.

Horrible!!!! The shed is unreal! I can't even vacuum the whole rug without emptying 4-5 times. It's like a sick dog. Hair all over my animal free home.

Beautiful but Fuzzy

The rug is beautiful but it will need a trim before I can put it out. There is a LOT of loose fuzz coming off the wool and I'm hoping that it can just be cleaned off and not be a problem moving forward. It is very thick, soft and cushy on the feet -- so I love that part. 2 weeks later: It's like having a second pet, lots of extra fuzz floating around the house.

10 x 14 rug stunnning!♡♡♡

We purchased the 10 x 14and it's absolutely stunning!!!! It is on the thinner side so if you have wooden/laminated floors you will need to purchase an under felt rug. We initially didn't purchase one but upon delivery realised we needed one...when it arrived it made a huge difference it secured the rug so it didn't move around and it feels softer and nicer to walk on. Its a stunning rug and we are thrilled with it ♡♡♡

I want to love this rug because it is beautiful BUT it sheds so damn bad!! I have balls of it everywhere and little fibers that suck to everything just from walking on it. It’s awful. Trust me.. it’s not beautiful enough to deal with ALL the shedding! Ugh, I just wanted to love it so bad!!

Beautiful rustic rug

Second time we have purchased this rug. It's beautiful in our somewhat rustic style room. It needs a nonslip pad if using on wood floors. It held up well for 5 years without any deep cleaning, was time for a new one. It did shed some initially with sweeping.

Unique southwestern rug

Updated Review: over 4 months now and the shedding has finally minimized.. . it's not too bad now. Unfortunately, after 3 months of use in my cottage rental, this rustic rug continued to shed more than any dog I've ever owned. It shed so badly it plugs up the hose and fills the vacuum bag. I should have returned it! I'd remove all stars if I can as this was not great for the price! My original review: Looks just like the photo. Very unique and has the appearance of handmade quality. I have not noticed shedding yet as is mentioned in other reviews and will comment after usage and vacuuming if there's a problem. I'm very happy with this rug for my Equestrian cottage decor.
