I love it a lot. After searching for all rugs , I stoped here . I was in love with color and that was hand knotted wool. It is not heavy at all , easy to clean and move around . And as always the price was the Best only here . Will recommend to a friend.

Perfect rug

Now most rugs look like old. I'm living in modern condo. This rug made dining room beautiful. I like that color is not too bright. Looks good on dark wood floor.

Very pleased with this rug. It is well made and beautiful. As other reviews stated, it is a very thin rug. It is not plush. Now that I have seen this rug in person, I am considering getting a larger one for the dining room.

I have had this rug for a few years now and it has held up remarkably well, considering that I used it in the primary entry way. It has moved with me to my new home and looks as good as it did the day it arrived. The rug is thinner than some and a rougher texture, but I like that about it. Great neutral and I've received many compliments on it.

Great bathroom rug. Brings texture to the otherwise boring room. Colors true to picture. Does move quite a bit so need a rug pad.

Picture is true to color, except mine does not have a pronounced brown border all the way around; in some places it's more of a grayish colored wool. Otherwise quality is OK. There are also occasional fragments of grain or corn husks in the fiber, which you can pick out, if bothersome.

Perfect find

This rug fit perfectly under our square counter height table. The neutral colors are low profile but really pulls the open space rooms together. Corners on one side flipped up, but after leaving a chair leg on them a day to tamp them down, they were fine. The initial shedding is ridiculous (see photo) but I searched a long time for a 7 ft Brown, grey, ivory rug and this is perfect! I would definitely recommend it. It arrived a couple of days early in great condition.

Nice rug but not as plush as expected

I like the colors and texture but the rug is much less plush and thinner height wise than I expected.

Uniquely Spectacular !

Worthy to be wall hung, I hate stepping on this but I do. The workmanship is fantastic and it is true in the colors you see for sure. It gives a very thick appearance in person due to to contrasting wonderful detail and is just thick enough. There is no backing that I can see and due to the soft delightful quality, it needs a rug pad. Despite the neutral tones, the colors are extremely eye catching showing extraordinary detail and texture rarely seen. The design is also perfectly balanced for a small rug. It's the work of art nature that has led to many complements and so for me it was money well spent and the right choice. If you like the look, there is just one left so grab it. You will be absolutely delighted. :) Bill

Meets our needs

We purchased the Sahavieh Handmade Kenya Brown/Charcoal Wool Rug - 9' x 12' mainly because of the colors and pattern design. This one looked to fit our room decor better than anything else we could find. I had previously purchased another area rug by Safavieh and found it to be very high quality, so I felt comfortable that this one would also be of good quality. I am not disappointed in the quality. This one is a very different style of rug and is pretty much what I thought it would be based on the picture on Overstock's site. It is not a thick, heavy rug. It contains varying textures and areas that are lower with accents that are raised. On average I'd say it is about 3/8" thick with some areas that may be as much as 1/2". It is definitely not plush! I purchased a good felt pad to place under it to help give it some more cushioning. It will work fine in our living room, but won't be as comfortable as carpet if we were to lay down on the floor. We just put new hardwood in our living room and wanted this rug to give the room some design accents as well as help quiet the sound reflections and a little cushioning in the main floor area. All in all, we are happy with it, although I think I would have liked it to have a little thicker, denser rug. So, it is good but not great! Less

Thin and uncomfortable

This rug is thin, uncomfortable to walk on, and curls at all the edges because it is so thin.....I am using it in a place few see, so will keep it, but am very unhappy with the quality.

Wonderful Pattern

This rug has a nice color combination, especially if you are using in a neutral palate and the quality was what I expected for this type rug. I wish the Ivory/Brown Kenya rug had been in stock for a little contrast.

Beautiful

High quality. The texture adds a nice a contrast to my wood floor. It is soft enough to walk barefoot on. I'm using a rug pad underneath it. This is the same rug a professional designer chose for an office I recently visited. The neutral tones are very designer-looking. It was so stunning, I had to have one of my own. I bought the smaller size to put in front of my chair, and I love it!
