Beautiful rug. Well-made...colors go great with our furniture ..so happy that Iselected the best one for our room.

Wool rug is much darker color than picture

The color is much darker than the picture shown. Disappointed. Soft but shed a lot. I've been vacuuming non stop.

Terrible texture and Constant shedding

I can't believe how high the reviews are for this rug. I didn't have time to return it as I had just moved into a new place/job but I wish I returned it. It is like having a constantly shedding animal living in your home - it's so uncomfortable to walk on and sheds - I'm giving it away for free right now.

Soft thick hand knotted wool & cotton rug

We bought this for our one year old son's room. I was looking for a safe non-toxic option hand knotted or hand woven instead of hand tufted which has the glue backing) that is also not too expensive. I was happy to find this rug! Even though it's 80% wool (20% cotton) it's super soft. I was also concerned about the thickness and thought we may need a layer under it for more cushioning but this is really just perfect by itself. It's a great find. I would highly recommend!

Beautiful rug that should last for may years. Just enough color to be interesting but not overpowering. Be ready to vacuum because it has been shedding for a couple of months.

Colors are great and it's super soft! Sheds a lot when I vacuum, but nothing noticable otherwise, so no big deal! The pictures shown are very accurate in colors.

love the colors and pattern of this rug! It is so plush, though it does shed a lot at first. Perfect for large underneath foot of the bed, really pulls together my coastal tribal boho room. Looks more expensive that it was, super happy!

It's much bolder than it looks in the photo, which I actually am quite happy about as my look is modern with an ethnic touch. It does shed but...it won't forever and we're willing to put up with it considering the size, the look, the price. I think it's a great value.

I love this chic and cozy carpet. It's fun, modern and classic all at the same time. The different colors are easy to coordinate with, yet the effect is subtle and fun.

Absolutely beautiful rug, but the pile is more of a shag than a tight weave. about an inch and a half so the description is incorrect. expect a solid year of shedding (i've had rugs like this before) if you can tolerate it you will have an awesome rug that will last forever.

I returned this product for a smaller size and am still waiting for my credit.

I LOVE this rug! It reminds me of a soft warm fuzzy sweater. The colors are beautiful. I can't wait til it stops shedding all the fuzz balls I find all over my house.

Soft, great colors!

I love this rug! Wasn't sure what to expect but was pleasantly surprised to find it has a very soft feel and gorgeous colors! Highly recommend!

Beautiful rug, but be prepared........

PROS: Beautiful, well constructed, heavy rug. Colors are like picture. CONS: I have owned my rug for 2 months now and it is still sheddding excessively! This rugs sheds ALOT! Fills an entire canister twice when vacuuming. (I vaccum daily) If you or your kids touch it, they will have furry hands! Also, be prepared for the tumbleweeds of fur around your house. I expected some shedding , not a new pet.

Beautiful Rug!

This is a gorgeous rug, true to colors and so very soft. It arrived on time and was easy to unroll (with help from my hubby, it's quite large and heavy). These are the perfect subtle mix of southwest color and style we were looking for in our new living room. It's very soft, but keep in mind it sheds quite a bit upon arrival. I vacuumed this several times a day for a few weeks before laying it down in our new house and placing our couch and end tables on it. Now I vacuum when I notice it's shedding, usually every 4-5 days. We've had it for about a year now and the shedding gets less and less. Our toddler loves to play on it and it's just so nice and soft compared to most thinner wool rugs. We wanted something soft on our feet and our toddlers knees and this was perfect. We also bought the felted pad to put under this - I highly recommend that as well if you are laying this on a hardwood floor. It adds quite a bit of cushion under foot. We look forward to many years of use with this rug.

What to expect

Rug looks great and feels soft, but expect shedding for quite a while. The brown stripes are slightly darker in person in comparison to the stock photo.
