Superior Commercial Coffee Brewer
Great commercial coffee brewer is streamline and easy to operate & maintain. It has a very large water reservoir and also can be connected to a water line. Replaces an older commercial brewer. Love that it goes into sleep mode when not in use and easy to wakeup by just the touch of the screen. No need to worry about auto turnoff/on.
Nice machine but plumbing fixtures/support lacking
The coffee machine is nice and compact and being plumbed makes if perfect for a small office. However, if you don't order the filter kit, you don't get any tubing or fittings to connec the machine to water. We purchased the filter kit AND, it still did not come with a diverter valve for the under the sink connection. That and some tubing should be included with the machine whether or not you purchase the filter kit. Also, I could not change the screensaver image on the machine like it says you can. I reached out to commercial tech support and got a reply that there was no more commercial support and to just email their orders department. I emailed them and it has been a couple of weeks with no reply. So support is iffy at best.
The Keurig 2500 commercial series, coffee maker
Several months ago I purchased from the kitchen barista the car 2500 coffee maker that I plumbed into my kitchen. When I made the purchase of this unit which the kitchen barista gave me a fantastic price on there was second to no one. I also purchased a filter that is attached to the rear of the unit then I took it one step further and I purchased.the Waterdrop TSA 8 Layer Under Sink... filtration unit. So my plumbing went through the water filtration unit then it went into the Keurig 2500 filtration unit on the back of the coffee maker and from there it entered the coffee maker. I will tell you this I was so happy to have installed this unit this keg 2500. It makes a fantastic cup of coffee. I don’t use premade coffee pod, I bought a half a dozen of the pods on Amazon and I filled them with Cameron‘s coffee of Minnesota I really enjoyed the breakfast blend. This coffee pot has been the High Point for me every morning since it was installed. I look forward to at least one cup most of the time 2 cups of coffee at breakfast. It was a real pleasure shopping for this unit through the kitchen barista I saved a lot of money and I also saved taxes. I enjoy watching the kitchen barista on YouTube. They have great programs featuring many different coffee makers. I will tell you when you coffee and it’s into the plumbing and you have to fill it again with water. That is the greatest reward you could give yourself, I had a fantastic experience buying from the Kitchen barista I would rate the kitchen barista a five star operation. Do not hesitate making a purchase from them you will be quite pleased. Less
Beware !!!
I have had this unit since January. It started throwing Error 4. This is Cold water reservoir not filling. After working with Customer service they finally said "The only way to rectify this is to replace the unit".Then they stated that it has been over a year and warrantee has expired . They looked up the manufacturing date and went from there. Their warrantee says "One year from purchase." So they are trying to cheat me out of a warrantee replacement. Companies that do things such as this should be forced out of business.
Keuring Brewer K2500 - great machine
Great machine. Easy to set up and use. We bought the separate water tank but still have the option to connect to a direct water source. The touch screen has more size options and an option to make the brew stronger. Machine has an automatic shut off feature so we don't have to worry about the machine overheating. Would definitely reccomend this machine
Why does it turn off!?!?
Finally thought I'd found the perfect Keurig... It will remember your preferred settings! It plums into the wall! It looks great! No fluf... but then... The second day you have it you'll regret it. Want a quick cup in the morning? Too bad! You gotta wake it from sleep. Then wait 5 minutes for it to warm up. Oh what's that you say? Just put the kcup in and hit the button? Who cares if it takes a few extra moments? Hahaha! DOUBLE too bad. You have to stay right next to it for it too warm up. THEN put the kcup in. NOT BEFORE YOU IDIOT! Who would possibly want easy coffee in the morning? Clearly not anyone that is willing to pay $$$ for what could have been an amazing coffee maker. Idiots.PS: To solve this issue, put the sleep timer as high as it goes (4 hours). Then buy a 15a plug timer from Amazon. Set it to cycle the power once every four hours. It works but it's ridiculous that there's no setting to keep the thing ready 24/7. *sigh* Less
Fantastic
I am really enjoying my Keurig K – 2500 Commercial coffee maker. I bought this for my kitchen coffee bar. I have a Phillips 4500 and I have a Keurig K-155 I just switched with The K 2500. I enjoyed setting up the K2 500 I plugged everything so that both coffee machines now have freshwater whenever they need it without having to go to the sink on the 2500 the optional water filter, and I placed in before the coffee pot. The water filtration system, which consist of three different filters goes into the fourth filter, which is the coffee pot filter in the back of the Keurig. I set it up so that this filtered water will be shared by both units. The clean of the water the less cleaning going to have to do to your units use my coffee in the Keurig and I use the perfect pod to fill it. I found my own blend beats all the different companies that are selling products. I’m very happy I do like my coffee hot so after my coffee is made, I put it in the microwave for another 20 seconds , if you do have the space in your home and you’re thinking about plumbing your coffee pot, this is the unit to buy there are other commercial units but this is the right size and it performs very very well. This is definitely a five star unit and I do recommend it. Do you want to save money the kitchen barista and Canada is the place to shop. I know I’ll be enjoying this unit for a long time. Less
This is a great little upgrade!
I bought this to upgrade the old commercial coffee maker that had begun leaking. I love the plumbed option, so we don't ever have to worry about filling a reservoir. I chose the professional install option as well and had this fully installed within a week of delivery and they took the old one back. I love this machines size, its about half as big as our old one and saves so much counter space. The touch screen is nice with several options and I like that this machine does not have the catch tray inside for used K-Cups because that always got gross.
Excellent Machine very much worth it
I now own two of these brewers in my home. No more loading the reservoir after brewing a few cups of coffee. Filters and direct water line attached to rear of machines. I love the Keurig product line of machines and availability of all types of coffee, tea, and other beverages for their brewers. Couldn't be happier! I've been buying my K-cups from Keurig directly through their autoship for over 15 years. Never had a problem and the cost has always been reasonable.
Terrible machine and worse Keurig support
Will not brew accurately. Always short brews. I brewed two 12oz cup sizes into a 17 ounce tumbler. Both brews together filled up the tumbler maybe three fourth of the 17 ounce tumbler. Obviously at least 8 ounces short of 24 ( 12 + 12 = 24). Keurig help is worthless and basically non-existent. Called Keurig several times and absolutely no help. They give you a number to call that no one ever answers. Worthless
The good, the bad and the ridiculous!
I replaced my broken Commercial K150P which I loved, with the 2500. The good is that it is sleek looking, much lighter, repairable, much more quiet, nice screen and has a dark brew option. The bad and the most ridiculous omission from the K150 series is they removed the auto on timer. That was by far my favorite feature. Now you have to wait the 3 to 4 minutes for the water to warm prior to drinking. In addition, the on off switch is half way down the back of the unit, instead of the upper corner where the K150's was. Each morning I must now move the machine away from the wall to turn it on and then wait for it to warm up.
SOLVED: AUTO-ON Design Failure
SOLVED: AUTO-ON Design Failure:After searching all over the web and calling advanced tech support, it was obvious that the lack of AUTO-ON was not going to be fixed. Having to turn it on and wait for it to warm up really stinks, so I was able to figure out a solution.Given the cheapo nature of the circuit boards, we all have them on plug-in surge protectors anyway, but by placing a wi-fi plug between the surge protector and the socket, I was able to program it to turn on every day at 0545 with my phone. The action of energizing the board makes it think that someone hit the ON button, so it goes ahead and heats up.The 2 devices hanging out of the plug it not beautiful, but well worth it.I hope that this helps everyone.
A Total Engineering Failure! K-2500
Brand new K-2500. No mention in any literature or marketikng piece that afer I use the machine it was designed to "go to sleep." So now, I wake up and I have to go "wake up" my Keurig and wait on the water to heat befor I can brew a cup of coffee. So what has alway been the 1 minute cup of coffee in the mornings is now the 5 minite cup of coffee. It's pure insanity. I own 4 commercial Keurig machines and 7 residential units for rental properties. I buy K-cups by the cases. I honestly think I'm done with Keurig. This is the most lame and archaic design feature I've ever seen in the history of Keurig. You may have taken a step forward but you've taken 5 backwards with this new "design feature". Simply unbelieveable. Incidentally, you also took all the clearance away between the top of a standard coffee cup and the dispensing spout. What were you possibly thinking... and who in their right mind signed off on this??? Less
Hurry up and wait…and wait
We bought this machine for our home so we could have an always-ready, plumbed coffee maker. While the machine seems to brew well, it’s never ready to go. Unless you’ve just made a cup within the last few minutes, you have to wake the machine by touching the screen—and then wait for it load its menu and warm the water (neither of which is done quickly). Only then can actually see/press the brew button on the screen. So there’s always a lot of staring at a blank screen, listening to the water heat, and waiting for the ability to start your brew before you can walk away and let the machine do its thing. In this regard, the regular home units are much better. Those allow you to just press a physical button and do other things while the machine warms and brews. For as much money as the K-2500 costs, it should be at least as good as the cheaper models. Also for those who can’t get the screen saver to work. The directions in the user’s manual are written incorrectly; they specify that files must have a .jpeg extension, but really the extension must be .jpg. Simply remove the ‘e’ from your file names, and your photos will be recognized. You’ll still have to do a fair amount of editing your pictures beforehand to get them to fit the screen ratio without being distorted, but it’s possible with trial and error. That Keurig would offer a feature requiring so much work and problem solving on the user’s part is a testament to how poorly this machine is designed.Having a maker with a plumbed water line is nice, but I definitely wouldn’t buy this unit again. It would be fine in a commercial setting where it is continually being used, but for a home user who wants a cup of coffee on demand without excessive wait times, you’ll do better to get an everyday machine with a simple brew button. Never ready

Great new addition to the Keurig family.
I just recently purchased this coffee maker to replace a standard home Keurig brewer. I have had my share of machines but this one takes the take. Although it is expensive, it's very well built and the addition of a touch screen makes this that much more premium. I like the fact that you have the option of plumbing it or using the reservoir which is the route I chose and the fact that it is super quiet when heating and when brewing. Probably the quietest Keurig I have ever owned. This machine is almost perfect, I do have some "cons" to add here, one of my biggest issues with the K2500 is the lack of a clock and a way to have the machine auto turn on to heat up before I have to work in the morning. I think for this price point that should have been included in the software, bringing me to my next point. Since this machine is able to be updated via USB, it would be fantastic to have software that enables the auto on feature as well as add a clock. It seems it can be done, so I will have to hold out to see in the near future. The settings are password protected, which is fine but I think the menu system is a little clunky. There is a manager menu and a technician menu and really I think they should have been under the same category. Most of the functions in there are your basic settings like temp, default brew size, etc. That being said, I really like this coffee brewer, built quality is top notch and the touch screen is really cool (not sure why they got rid of some of these features on newer machine). I highly recommend this unit not only for small office settings but for home use as well. Less
I miss the K150P!
As you probably know, the K150P model has been discontinued. The ones that I have been able to find on eBay were 'open box', and I didn't want the headache of returning it. I have had two K150P 's, and they each lasted 2-3 years. Never liked the fact that the parts weren't serviceable, but now you are forced to upgrade to the K-2500.On the plus side, the unit itself looks very nice, it makes good coffee, and the parts are serviceable. When I looked at the reviews before I bought this unit, one complaint was that it 'leaked'. For me, it did leak from the water connection when I first connected it, but I just flipped the washer over, and it has been fine ever since. I agree with the other reviews that I do not like the fact that their is a 4-hour shut off, and you have to wait for it to heat up. I will be honest, it only takes less than 90 seconds to heat, but the K150P was always ready.Lastly, you could preset the cup (ounce) size as default on the K150P. On the K-2500, you have to push the desired amount of water every time you want t cup.As you can tell, I am a K150P fan, but although expensive, this unit works fine. Everyone be safe! Less
The Best Yet - With Some Caveats
We haven't had this brewer for very long, but so far we are impressed with it. It's quieter than our previous one and we like the overall design of the unit. We also like the option of using the reservoir or having it plumbed. At the moment we're using the reservoir until the new water line has been run. The brewer options are much the same as in previous models, but the overall layout seems to be more intuitive. We also like the "strong" brew option for making iced beverages. That said, the brewer does have some things that we find a bit annoying for a commercial unit. These are detailed below.1. The brewer will go to sleep after 4 hours. There is no way to extend this. For a commercial brewer, we should be allowed to have it stay hot 24/7. As it is, the brewer goes to sleep and you must wake it up by touching the screen. At that time it will go through the heating process that can take several minutes. We'd like to see the option of disabling the sleep function.2. Considering point 1 above, we should have the option of waking the brewer up at a set time. Our previous brewer had this function. We were able to set a time for the brewer to be ready. This model lacks that option.3. Adding your own background images doesn't seem to work. We've tried everything to customize the background images following the steps in the manual and the process always fails. The brewer is capable of having a software update via the included USB port. Hopefully Keurig can release an update that can address these issues.Overall we are happy with the brewer so far. The software issues aside, it's a nice brewer and having the option of a direct-plumb or the water reservoir is a nice benefit for a commercial brewer. We also appreciate that the brewer can be serviced in the field. This should provide some longevity to the product. Less
Compact and serviceable design, but with flaws
The main benefit of this new model is that it is much more compact in the plumbed in version than for example the prior K150. A new feature is the addition of a "strong" option, that runs the water more slowly though the pod. Also the fact that it is apparently serviceable, unlike all prior models (that had to be junked even if a minor part failed), should be a plus. However in other respects this model is a step back from the K150. Firstly while you can set a maximum serving size, you can't select for example just one size that corresponds to the size of the cup that is provided. Also you can't have the brewer stay heated for more than 4 hours. After that it goes off and the water cools. So someone wanting a coffee after that time has to wait almost 5 minutes for the unit to heat then brew. This is big set back for our application in a bed and breakfast where guests may want a coffee infrequently but at any time.In addition a much vaunted feature in the operating guide is the ability to upload your own images to the screen saver. However after much wasted time trying to make this work, we found out from their customer service phone support that there is a bug and this feature simply does not work!On balance we preferred our prior plumbed in K150 model that failed after 3 years, that was also less expensive. Unfortunately it is no longer available in the plumbed in version. This new unit apparently has the ability for software updates in the field via a thumbdrive and the USB port. We hope that some of these problems may get resolved and that an update is made available for already purchased units. Less
Everyone Gets "The First Cup!"
There was a joke around my workplace; "The person to get the last cup of coffee has to be the person to make another pot!" 4 consecutive years of making a fresh pot with our janky MR. COFFEE pot are now behind us.This commercial grade Keurig machine is basically the first cup EVERY cup!K-2500® Plumbed Commercial Coffee Maker with Water Reservoir has to be the best thing since sliced bread. The sleek design, the addition to water filling, the touchscreen that illuminates "Enjoy Your Beverage!"...it's all just so jaw-dropping!Installation was easy as 1-2-3! Connect a few parts, screw in a few screws and DONE! What me and the rest of my crew admire is the 110oz water reservoir. As long as you keep the water line filled to the max, you don't have to worry. The machine takes care of the rest. If a reservoir isn't your thing, you can automatically connect it to a water line and have it fill the machine directly.Another favorite has to be the customization of both the beverage oz AND beverage choice. Whether you want an 12oz Hot Cocoa or 8oz Tea/Coffee...the choice is simply a touch away! With all this being said, I do have some choice pinpoints I'd like to address:1. Make sure you dispose of the used pod after you are done. Don't leave it in to clog the needle, otherwise you'll get hit with a very scary "error" message asking you to clean the thing. Luckily, I had some cleaning pods & solution on hand. But if you don't, simply flushing the machine with plain water should work well, too.2. After about 5 beverages, the water empties pretty fast. Despite it being 110oz, it just does and it will make sure to flash "FILL WATER TANK" to remind you of your coffee addiction. Lol3. And lastly, be weary of using the "Caribou Blend" pod back-to-back. It was the culprit of my needle jamming up and we looked it up at my workplace to find that "Caribou Blend" specifically has been the reason most of the Keurig machines have been breaking needles.Aside from those mentions--this machine is probably our latest pride and joy. With the conservative sleep mode, high res photo interface of cute coffee-themed scenes, "strong brew" feature and meeting all kinds of standards--i definitely recommend this machine. 5/5**I got this machine complimentary from Influenster & Keurig.
