Nice stool that did not come with the hardware you need to assemble it. Calls for customer service are a circle of endless hopelessness. Still not sure how this might be resolved. Totally frustrating.

Pleased with our new counter stools

Since we purchased these for a new home, my husband has only put 1 together. He said it took about 45 minutes. They look great and sturdy, but I want to warn you that it's not a dark blue (navy) shade. Personally, I wish it had been, but the shade will blend with my navy items. Loved the fact that the weight limit is higher than some stools.

Very pleased with the 4 chairs. Durable, great quality. Only issue is that one of the chairs was defective. Getting a replacement was simple and easy. We were told to discard the damaged one, but now are being asked to send it back.

Love these bar stools! Very comfortable and easy to assemble. The only problem is that the screws backed out over time. Just need to remember to tighten them occasionally.

Perfect height

I love the color of this barstool. It was easy to put together. However, the screws were missing from the box. So, I will have to purchase screws and drill them into the foot rails. Overall, I am happy with this purchase.

Great Quality...Love them

Love these chairs. I have three in my kitchen near my island. The color is just perfect. Well built. You won't be disappointed if you purchase these.

True to picture

They are exactly what you see in the picture, but prettier. They match true form for color. Great Stool, just what I wanted. Would recommend this product.

These chairs look great and are nice to sit on. The legs can be a bit tricky to attach as the holes don't always line up correctly and 3 of my 5 barstools have a slight wobble to them. It seems like they could have used some more attention to detail in the manufacturing process. But overall, I'm satisfied with the purchase.

The staples in the upholstery were obvious and made the chairs look even cheaper than they were. The holes connecting the seat to the legs were misaligned on both chairs. It was impossible to secure the seat enough to where it would support any weight. One of the stability connectors for the legs had the screw hole drilled in to the exterior of the wood (so it was less a screw "hole" and more a screw "resting place.") This was after waiting for two and a half weeks for the delivery, which was supposed to arrive in one week. Every time I logged on to check for status updates, it told me "Delivery expected July 6th." It said this on July 7th, July 8th, and so on, all the way up to when it was finally delivered on July 15th. And now, Overstock is charging me *** to return something that is not even usable. I have purchased better quality furniture at *** - and they make returns easy (and free).

Overall great chairs! They look quite high quality and the height was perfect for our counter kitchen. Giving 4 stars instead of 5 because we ordered 3 chairs, two assembled perfectly but the last one for some reason did not fit very well and we had one leg slightly shorter (about 1/8 inch) than the others. Fixed it with extra furniture padding since it was a small gap and now it's not noticeable at all.

I really like these chairs now that they're together. They are extremely comfortable, have an elegant look, and are very sturdy. My only complaint is the difficulty I had putting them together. I'm fairly handy when it comes to this sort of thing, and 90% of it was no problem, but I had an issue connecting the front legs to the seat. The holes did not line up, and there was very little flexibility to make them line up. I ended up having to drill out the holes in the wood of the seat to be larger, so that the holes lined up with the threads in the legs for the bolts. Not sure if this was a design error or a manufacturer error, but either way, it made it tough to assemble. All in all, I would recommend if you are up for the assembly challenge. The seats are very soft and comfortable.

The stools are great and exactly what I was looking for, however the quality is sub par. I ordered three stools and all of them had issues with the legs being off in length, causing that annoying rocking.

4 out of 4 stools I received were defective.

The holes for the legs are complete misaligned and cannot be assembled. Poor quality control. I don't understand how could Macy's sell these to me knowing that this product is defective.

Great value and design

I am not a fan of assembling furniture, the 2 i bought were straight forward to put together,maybe 10 mins in total. They are comfortable,and nice visally, i got the taupe color. i had measured the height i needed prior so i got the right height in the end ( measure twice folks)

NOT A GOOD PURCHASE

These chairs were by far my worse purchase from Macy's. The quality is not the best when assembling. I purchased 6 had to return 4 in which the replacements that were sent were even of worse quality.

Very nice!

Great quality, but unfortunately I had to return this stool. Came to my home on time, packaged very well. Attempted to assemble the seat to its back (extremely difficult aligning screws) only to realize I purchased the wrong height stool. I would definitely recommend the Marian Tufted counter stool.
