Much better than plastic versions

A pleasant upgrade from the cheaper plastic allerase version which was too hot and nonbreathable. Both may protect the pillow from dander and mite buildup, but this all cotton version is great for summer, doesn't keep in air, and better for my sensitive skin. I do wonder how well it protects the pillow, given its breathability, but that's not something I can assess at this point. Guess I have to trust the manufacturer. No sizing issues for standard (non-European) USA pillows.

thin like everything else...

Despite being thinly make like all the other pillow protectors seem to be, can't argue too much with the cost. i didn't need anything expensive as they were going on new Tommy Bahama pillows i bought on negreaux Friday sales but kept in the product wrap until I was ready to use. Smart shopping when you can for the products you don't currently need is how you save down the road.

Bought brand new, found dead insect inside

Just bought this protector in my local Target store TODAY, took it out of the package and unzipped it to check the inner tag for any specific wash instructions…. Only to find a very questionable (dead) insect of some kind (a louse, maybe?) on the inside care tag. Not sure where or when the little thing may have gotten into the protector, but I absolutely will be returning it and possibly trying a different brand. Even a full wash cycle in hot water can’t cure me of my fresh case of heebie-jeebies.

Excellent and Affordable

Bought this protector for a new down pillow to extend the life of the pillow. I like that it’s 100% cotton. It has the crisp, lightweight feel of percale. Not super soft or smooth but since I’m using a pillowcase on top, that doesn’t matter much. I’ve washed/dried it according to instructions on tag (warm water, dry on low heat) and it held up well. It fits snug to my king size pillow and is fairly easy to get on and off. Very pleased with this protector and would buy again.

Nice covers

Purchased 4 of these covers for our 4 king pillows. I made sure they were the 100% cotton version because there is an older version not made of cotton still being sold at other retailers. These covers are a thick, crisp cotton that isn’t too crinkly-sounding. I washed and line-dried them before placing on our pillows. They were easy to put on and have a zipper closure. I haven’t had them long so can’t speak for durability. Including a few photos since the product photos aren’t very descriptive.
