KitchenAid need I say more This is an excellent can opener. Easy to use even with arthritis. Highly recommend this can opener and any KitchenAid product.

Great can opener!

Great can opener! This Kitchen aid can opener works smoothly. We've had a couple that have broken after only a short amount of use. It has a solid feel, and hasn't snagged as some can. So far so good!

Easy to use and long lasting quality opener

I've had a number of these kitchen aid openers through the years in both black and red. They are sturdy , relatively long lasting units. They feel solid and are easy to use. There seem to be various times throughout the tear when they go on sale as well. I like them and recommend them.

Absolute BEST can opener

I couldn't be happier with this can opener. After going through many different (brand) can openers throughout the years, I finally purchased this one but it is worth every penny spent! It's sturdy, easy to use and makes opening the can enjoyable. I now look forward to opening cans! You won't regret it.

Disappointing Kitechenaid product

Bought a while ago to replace an old can openner that was tough to turn (mostly for the wanting-to-help kids), this one had to be in a specific position in order to grip and now the mechanism strips half the time. Probably going to the garbage soon.

Good basic manual can opener. Well made and easy to use and clean. I am happy with it and would highly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a simple can opener.

Kitchen Aid always makes top quality items. Though you pay more and not cheap; items tends to last a long longer. Can opener is Heavy Duty and would purchase again!

This is not the can opener you're looking for

Used 7 times now it feels like gears are stripped, turn the handle several times to get it to barely move to open the can. Piece of junk. Why cant they make anything that lasts? My mother has the same can opener that she had when i was a kid. And i cant find one that will last a month.

Terrible, not worth the price.

Operating this can opener is difficult and does not produce a clean cut. This opener sort of chews the lid and can. It’s shameful that it’s being sold as a premium product. You would more easily and cleanly open a can with a Swiss Army knife. The much lower price Starfrit can opener is superior.

Works great and painless with my arthritis hand

I have used this can opener now for a few weeks and have opened many standard size cans and it has worked well. Some cans such as fish have thicker metal so are a bit harder to turn. I have arthritis in my hand so it was important to have an opener that I could turn without difficulty and this one provides painless openings. My only complaint is that it does not cut the very last bit so the lid is still attached by a hair. Also it would have been nice to have a magnet to hold onto the lid for easy removal. So I have my pickup pen sized magnet that works just fine.

No more fighting to open a can!

After struggling with 3 different can openers resulting in 20 minutes each time to open a single can and much frustration, l decided there had to be a better device out there and use of my time. I was preparing myself for another struggle yet was so elated when the KitchenAid slid effortlessly around the can. I shouted for joy!

I tried to give the canopener 1 star but it wouldnt let me! I think the cutter is very poorly made. It is a struggle opening

Its soo eassy to use, its smooth handling.. loli relaise that my last can opener was pure garbage. I bought that one from Canadian tire too, forgot which brand it was though. But spending the money for this Kitchen Aid can opener was and is worth the money.

Amazing product!

This is nice! It’s not one of those tiny can openers that feel like they will fall apart after a few uses! They’re very durable and easy to use. Comes with a bottle opener, too! I received the red one, which matches my kitchen decor perfectly.

Easy to Use Classy Opener

I was gifted this product so that I can give an honest review. This KitchenAid can opener is very classy looking with the red handles and crank. The sturdy plastic handles are easy to grip. The device catches onto the lip of a can easily. The large crank turns well and tears open a metal lid quickly and with little effort.

I had the good fortune of being gifted the KitchenAid Multifunctional Can Opener as a challenge. I hate can openers - none of these last for me. Electric or manual - none of them last. Imagine my surprise and relief when this one did.

Good quality

I have an older opener and was happy to get this a gift for my honest review. I had a hard time trying to attach it to the can and found the handles to be bulky and slippery. The crank turned smoothly and with ease. It is well made and the color will stand out in the utensil drawer. This will be perfect for a camper since it has a handy bottle opener.

Not the best can opener

First, I was gifted this product to leave my honest review. It's a good quality heavy can opener but I struggle to use it. I found great difficulty when using it , the turning knob was very hard to turn and it cut my can pretty deep and caused liquid from the can to pour out. I like electric can openers much better. This is definitely good quality though, I had an old can opener that used to bend so at least this one is sturdy.
