[Rewarded Review] Nice and sleek
Great looking, relatively easy to use, and pleasant chimes. Seems well constructed and I appreciate the full metal interior. No complaints thus far!
[Rewarded Review] Great Little Kithen Aid!
As I recovered from major surgery and had strict limitations on what I could lift and the range of motion with my arms, I needed a way to get my coffee made via the pourover method. My cast iron teakettle was too heavy. A friend owns an older model of the gooseneck Kitchenaid electric kettle, we weighed hers with water in it and it passed the test, so I ordered one for myself. It has been a lifesaver. I like the “hold temp” feature, I just wish they came up with a way that you did not have push it every time you lift it off the base, because with a pourover, you need to be patient!
A Must Have for Tea and Coffee
This is my favorite tea kettle I've ever owned. I use it for tea (Green, Oolong, Black) and coffee. Pros: dial in temperature, to-the-degree; not stuck with factory presets like with other electric kettles. Flow control on the spout (small plate on the inside that you can set in a few different positions to change how constricted the water flow is; how fast if pours out). Second thermometer on the lid to verify the temperature claimed by the digital readout (I haven't seen this in any other kettles). Easy to de-scale according to the included instructions (involves boiling a mix of vinegar and water, leaving overnight, and a few rinses the next morning). User interface is easy - 4 buttons: temperature up, temperature down, heat and hold at temp, or just heat.
[Rewarded Review] Quality ... Yes. Precise ... Yes. Slow ... Yes.
Quality is excellent. Very precise ... but ... the kettle takes forever to heat up. I use cold tap water and like my water heated to 186 degrees. The first phase of the heating process 56 degrees (in my case) to around 176 takes around 8 minutes. Then the precise part of the kettle kicks in. The kettle cycles on and off until 186 is reached. So about 10 minutes all in all. Just give me a higher wattage heating element. Get the initial heat up time to under 5 minutes, and I'll be happy. I retire in 6 months. I'll have more time in the morning to wait for my water to heat.
[Rewarded Review] Excellent Choice
Bought it as a gift. Everyone in the household uses it. Easy to use, constructed well, heats water quickly and doesn't take up much counter space. I also like the analog temperature gauge as well as the digital readout. Output flow control is a nice feature too. I looked at many different units at a wide range of costs. I'm glad I purchased this one.
[Rewarded Review] An excellent daily appliance with style
This is a beautiful kettle. I love the alert bell so I know when my water is ready, and I really love that I can adjust the temperature for different kinds of tea. My only wish is that it had a slightly bigger capacity (as I like to pre-boil water for dinner), but it certainly gets used!
[Rewarded Review] Great features.
Gifted and I love it! Use it daily. Excellent to control different temps for a variety of teas.
[Rewarded Review] Excellent with one hitch
A pretty kettle and it works well. The only negative u it s that I wanted an all stainless kettle and I asked customer service if it had any other materials inside and they said no. I don't want yo boil water with anything but stainless steel. It arrived and has a plastic silicone which one can use to adjust the flow inside. I removed it and the kettle works fine for my pourover coffee each day. But, it would have been a deal breaker for me if customer service gave an accurate description of the product. But I am happy with it now and all they would have had to say was that there was a removable piece.
[Rewarded Review] excellent quality
I use a tea kettle a lot more than i thought I would have.
[Rewarded Review] solid kettle
I have been using the kettle for about a month. So far it has been performing very well. I love that it is mostly stainless steel and has an analog thermometer as well as a digital. The most important thing to me is how long it lasts. I expect a kettle like this to last at least 5 years. We'll see how it does and I'll update my review accordingly.
[Rewarded Review] Variable H2O temperature
Love the temperature choices to hear the water to. Several of the things I drink need 70 or 80 C so having that option is great. Only concern is the longevity of the pot. I am hoping for years of use. It is cute too which is nice.
(Rewarded Review) Digital Kettle
I love this kettle - I think of it as silver tea service with the Royal Family. It works very well and I love how it keeps water hot for another 30 minutes.
Best tea kettle I’ve ever had
It really brings out the subtle nuances in the tea that I hadn’t realized I was missing. My only complaint is that the beeps are a little annoying and sound like an elevator.
[Rewarded Review] Great Kettle
What’s great:
Nice features and practical, quality questionable
Overall I like this kettle. The sound it makes is so pleasing when it’s done. It also boils quickly, has good control of temperature, I like the stay warm feature, but the only drawback is the finish. I was expecting a high quality material that would keep its beautiful shine and be easy to clean but already my kettle is developing spots that don’t come off and has a tarnished look. Clearly the stainless steel is not high quality and it’s a shame for such a nice kettle it might become an eyesore in my kitchen surrounded by my other shiny chrome finishes.
Buy it, you'll love it!!
I heat water for my tea in this beautiful little kettle. I always hated heating water for my tea in the microwave. The kettle heated the water to the temperature you want in very little time. It also has a chime that quietly rings when it's ready. I love it!!!
Slightly dispapointed
The button labels on the mount wore away after six months of use. The thermometer in the lid broke after 12 months. Cannot purchase replacement lid on website.
[Rewarded Review] Ergonomic, easy to use and accurate
One month review. Great product and easy to use. Gooseneck poor spout works well. Quiet and has a pleasant alert tone when it hits set temp. Temperature memory is also a great feature.
[Rewarded Review] Excellent Features and Performance
Once I understood the features and set them up, I loved this kettle! I did need to download the owner’s manual and read about setup. The gooseneck in particular helps very much in filling my tea mug because I can see the water level. For making coffee, I can pour over the grounds exactly where I want. Specifying the water temperature and having a chime simplifies my routine. Again, the owner’s manual helped me understand what temperature I needed for my mountain elevation and kind of tea. I now have better and faster results in making both coffee and tea.
[Rewarded Review] So far, so good.
I’ve been ising the kettle for 2+ weeks and it is working as advertising.
