Understated but elevated
I purchased these chairs in Walnut with black leather seat cushion. They're well made, solid wood, feel sturdy, but light enough to slide out without fear of scratching the floor. There are plastic feet on the bottom of each leg. All edges are nicely tucked on the underside. The seat height is the perfect height for my counters, about 26.5'' in the saddle, 27.25'' where the seat contours up on the sides. For picture reference, it is 34'' to the underside of my counter and 37.25 to the counter top. There is minimal padding on the seat, which I expected, but it's comfortable enough. The seat back is not really one you'd lean back in to, but I like it for aesthetics. Overall, I'm very happy with them and would recommend.
