Great product!

This is a very well made futon. Sturdy with real wood. It wasn't too hard to put together. I did it myself until the two pieces had to join, then I needed help! The mattress is actually really comfortable! Surprisingly comfortable! I am very pleased!

Solid, heavy, quality products

This futon is not your cheap quality, Wayfair futon. This is sturdy, solid, and well-made. Assembly definitely takes 2 people and a few hours, but it's worth it. Definitely watch the assembly video; don't rely on the manual alone. Almost no extra tools are required; the allen wrench it comes with does it all. I'd definitely recommend this product to others.

It arrived quickly and without any damage. For being furniture shipped via FedEx, it's quite good quality. Assembly was easy and materials are good quality. The mattress is pretty thick and feels quite comfortable. My only negative is the upholstery "buttons", which are thin plastic and seem to be a probable weak point. But their small size are not felt while seated or laying on the mattress. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Nice couch

Very comfortable. A bit of a project to put together, just what I wanted.

Kodiak Futon (Queen)

Arrived in good time and in good condition. Product itself is awesome.

Heavy set

The set is really heavy and the assembly is quite tedious. We are a recently retired couple, still in a good shape, but we could not finish assembling it by ourselves. We are waiting for our son to help us with the the last step which involves lifting the whole assembled construction and setting it into the side arms. Also, Overstock declared this item to be on sale which would expire in hours. Guess what, the next day the price wend down.

I'm petite, so it can be a little tricky to change the angle of the back. The mattress is really thick (and not bad to sleep on for a few nights) but slips when the back is upright. My partner put it together fairly easily with a little assistance from me. Sturdy, would recommend.

Comfy, not as pretty as I thought it would be

Looks a bit odd because it's very top-heavy. The wood is more blah than I thought. But it's wood and it is comfortable. It took a while to assemble.

Good value for a queen bed/sofa option

This sofa came quickly, all pieces arrived together, and I love the fabric and the wood. The Bed is very comfortable and roomy. It's heavy to put up and down but that's because it is sturdy. It took my husband and I a couple of hours to put it all together but the instructions were good and all the pieces were all there.

Good addition for small media/bedroom.

The instructions were very straight forward and easy to put together with two people. It arrived in 4 boxes. The futon is a bit tall for a sofa but in order to have a queen size mattress, it is to be expected. The color of the futon was different than what I thought. It is a grey versus a tan linen. This still works okay and am happy with the linen fabric over a suede fabric. So far it has been comfortable as a sofa. Have not tried it as a bed yet but will most likely add a thin memory foam pad along with a mattress cover for sleeping. The extra storage will definitely come in handy for bed linens. The other nice feature are the shelves that can be up or down - good for beverages and remote.

I love the futon frame and drawers. Well made, easy to assemble, nice finish and perfect design. The instructions are pretty straightforward. Kodiak is the maker we felt confident in purchasing. So why not give it 5 stars? The mattress is very, very, very firm. It's actually uncomfortable to sit on for any length of time. Sadly, we will probably have to look at replacing it asap.
