I had a problem with the old Flush Valve's stand, the canister kept knocking the hose off. To replace the whole valve, which would require completely seperating the toilet tank from the base, would have been overwhelming for me, but I found the stand could simply be replaced along with the canister and it solved all my problems. Very clever engineering.

It turns out all I needed were the parts from the flapper up but it had what I needed so I will give the remaining parts to a friend who is a handyman.

I purchased this as replacement for a leaky valve gasket (the original was about 15 years old). It turns out the units as a whole don’t fail, all that I needed to replace was the lower seal. That took just a few minutes and a readily available, inexpensive Koehler gasket. So I can say without a doubt that these flush valves are terrific!

Worked great. Did not have to use bottom part that connected to bottom of tank. It twists and will go directly into the old one which was perfectly fine. Works like a champ.

This style valve with the thin gasket is awful. This style came with our new two toilets. In 2 1/2 years I have replaced each one 7 times. You will get 2-3 months is you use bleach tablets. 4-6 months without. Also maybe 2 of the replacements you buy will be faulty and get a bubble and will start leaking

Second time I ordered this and the part does not meet the needs expected. Part doesn't match specs - missing top valve receptacle shown. Returned prior part with online assistance and didnt resolve issue

Purchased to fix a personal diagnosis of a slow leak, but it didn't fix it. My plumber was fitting me into his schedule. The problem was actually in he fill system, but I had the plumber change out the canister flush kit anyway. The problem was my diagnosis, not the purchase!

Easy installation.

The valve installed easily. When finished, I pushed the handle down, which resulted in nothing, remembering then to connect the handle to the valve. One does not need to be smart to install this valve. When properly assembled, pushing the handle down resulted in the satisfying whoosh of water flushing away our no nos. No leaks A good experience.
