Matte black finish peeling off

We purchased the Matte Black faucet and it looked amazing when first installed, and I understand it has been 3 years since we purchased this. But after about 2 years the black paint started to peel off around the faucet handle. It kind of looks unsightly now. We did not use any abrasive cleaners or brushes on the faucet, it decided to peel all on it's own.

Very beautiful and has a great ease of function. Super easy to install and operate. Make sure you read the directions as we had a sputtering stream at first as we didn’t let it run before placing the sprayer on. Apparently debris can get in there and cause the issue. Called Kholer and they helped us! Overall, well worth the money!

I returned it. I didn't like the plastic sprayer or the way it pulled down.

Do not buy

Faucet was great for two years then the trouble began. Severely reduced water flow. Changed the spary head and aerator which cost $40 and didn’t fix the problem.

Solid faucet option but lacking in some areas

This kitchen faucet is stunning and really pops in our kitchen. The modern brass color is stunning and a little more yellow than your standard brass offerings.

Faucet fell apart

Faucet literally fell apart 9 months after purchase. Contacting Kohler for warranty has been a nightmare. Would not recommend. No email returns and eternal hold for phone support.

We Hate It!

It would be perfect is not so tall and didn't restrict the water flow so much. The flow just isn't adequate for hard rinsing of dished in the sink. And it's way, way too tall. The nozzle, when parked, is around a foot above the lip of the sink, maybe more. And the flexible part isn't long enough to get the nozzle near the bottom of the sink. If this was shorter, that wouldn't be a problem. And the flow is so restricted! Why? A stupid attempt to save water? BAD. May take it back.

The product is doing everything it is supposed to do, and it’s nice-looking, too. We have had it for a few weeks now, so we feel confident in proclaiming it a success.

No Hot Water and Spray head Clogging

No Hot Water and Spray head clogs and no way to clean it. Lines are so tiny that the slightest residue in your water line will clog it. Also, when pressing the spray trigger, it has to be held down unlike my previous faucets. Not enough water pressure.

Common Issue w/ Spout Detached & Water Everywhere

We've had the same issue other reviews have referenced where about 6 months after install the swing spout becomes disconnected from where it comes out of the docking arm and water spews all over the counter and under the sink. We're able to screw it back into the docking arm, but the fix only lasts a few weeks before it happens again. No one seems to know how to fix it without completely replacing it. If anyone from Kohler Customer Service can offer support, we'd appreciate.

This faucet is awesome. It works extremely well and after what I put up with the previous faucet, it’s like a dream come true. I love that it’s a gooseneck with a sprayer attached and a bonus soap dispenser. Now I won’t have any problems filling stockpots.

Good for 6 months

After 6 months the inner hose became untreated and leaked water under my sink for an entire day before I realized. I was able to pull thr spring and ensamble right off and I can see no possible way to put it back together. Just so I could use the faucet I had to slide off the outer spring casing so I could screw in the hose. The hose is so short I honestly don't know how it was assembled to begin with. I have a lot of kohler products in my house, but this is by far the worst.

Read this if you got a leaky/spitty faucet

So upon getting this installed we were super disappointed, the faucet is big and beautiful but the nozzle head was AWFUL. Instead of a steady stream it kind of spit water everywhere and got my counter constantly wet. I contacted kohler customer service and told them and they didn’t even ask any questions just said they would send me a new nozzle head. Just got it in the mail today and its 100% better now. They must be aware of the problem and sending new ones as people complain. Now I love it!!

Water steam not smooth
