Predrilled holes are horrible

Holes on the top didn’t line up. Was difficult to get the crews in the one spot. After many attempts of altering it finally came together

i cant even rate. they charged me and wont send it. I want my money back.

Perfect for my kitchen.

I love it. 2 of my friends ordered it after seeing mine. Relatively easy to assemble. Need 2 people. It's heavy. Very sturdy.

Cracked board

After just a couple of month the isle cracked completely on two edges and the leg. I cannot recommend

This little island is not so little. It is a nice square size and I love the storage space. The wooden utensils come in handy and so does the extra storage. I paired with a few bar stools. It’s quite tall. I only wish it were a bit longer.

I’m beyond happy with the Powell Butcher Block Kitchen Island. It’s very sturdy and also very functional. It holds the two baskets under the top of the counter top. Plus extra space underneath. The quality is impeccable. I’ve not found one thing that I don’t love about it.

Powell black kitchen island

Powell black kitchen island is very well made. Takes only thirty minutes to put the kitchen island together. The kitchen island is very strong and sturdy. Comes with two sliding baskets for extra storage. Baskets are very strong and well made. The top of the island has a beautiful wood top that's been protected with a finish, that is very durable and protects from scratches and marks. Also has a bottom wooden rack where you store your paper towels etc. I definitely would recommend this product.

The Table We Didn't Know We Needed

The table we didn't know we needed! We have a small house, and the kitchen is very small so by the time this island table was fully built it took up the entire kitchen, LOL. We were bummed at first. Then we found this spot in our hallway and it is the perfect spot for our tiny first home! As you can see in the first picture, we have used it for all the things. My fiance said it was the perfect piece we needed and she has had fun decorating it.

The Powell butcher block kitchen island is super easy to put together and looks great. It’s sturdy and I appreciate the storage baskets. I would recommend to is for an island or just extra prep space.

Love, love, love this table. It is just perfect for what I needed. It is really well constructed. I was pleasantly surprised how durable it actually is.

The top is NOT butcher block

This is a nice piece of furniture for extra counter space but there is a warning right on the front of the assembly instructions that states the following: "WARNING: This is not to be used as a cutting board. For food preparation use a normal cutting board." The top is not appropriate for use as a cutting board. I believe this is falsely represented. I like the piece and it is inexpensive if it were truly a butcher block top.

I’m only asking a question what inch height is the slatted shelf from the bottom of unit ?

Had a large scratch on it when I received it. Decided I could live with it. Two weeks later the butcher block part of the table separated at the corner. Very disappointed. Apparently not well made.

Received my new Powell butcher block table, well packed, took everything out, had a friend to help. Wasn't too difficult to assemble, this is a nice looking solid prep table, and its big! 3ft tall and 30" square give you plenty of added counter space. Within a week I purchased some mystery oil and also beeswax cream and applied follow the directions, your new table will need this, I love the table, got a couple of stools on each side, a plus there are two roll out baskets so for the price, you can't go wrong at the home depot price!!!

This table was easy to assemble and was what I needed in my kitchen. However, after only one month, the top is turning blotchy white, losing its color. I have only cleaned it with a damp cloth and have never cut on it or put any hot pans on it. I see from other reviews that the top is not real wood -- I'm guessing that's the problem. There were no instructions on how to take care of it, however. As lightly used as this table has been, this problem is ridiculous and the product is a rip-off!
