Not as durable as they used to be. Cannot repair

I've had this style of grinder for decades. All of them have failed in the same exact way, one side of the a/c cord breaks after years of flexing where it comes out of the grinder. A simple repair for most people but the clips that hold the bottom of the grinder on are designed to break if you try to release them. Why? This is infuriating. Unlikely I'll purchase another one for this reason alone. Wasteful.

Does the job but seems cheaply made

This is my second Krups coffee grinder. My first is now belongs to my daughter and is 5 years old. This newer one is not made as well - the grind button seems flimsy and not well fitted to device. It does the job yet in comparison to the older model, it appears less durable

This is nice for grinding coffee beans. I like to buy whole beans this works quickly to grind them. However it makes a mess when you take the lid off. It sort of suctions on, so when you take it off it spills a lot of the ground coffee. It’s also very loud but that’s to be expected when grinding something like coffee beans. I would like to try other brands.

I can always trust the brand name Krups, and that's why I chose this Coffee Grinder. I grind my beans every morning and use my French Press (also purchased from Wayfair Safdie & Co, Inc. French Press). I do have a large glass jar that holds about 1 weeks worth of ground beans that I keep in the fridge for when I have rushed mornings. I like that I can easily vary between large ground for my Press or more finely ground for my traditional coffee maker just by pushing the grind button down for more or less time. I wipe it out with a dry paper towel when Im done so cleaning is easy and just takes seconds. You can also grind up spices with this but I haven't used it for that yet. Im super happy with this high quality, simple to use Coffee Grinder.

Bought mine in Feb 1997, still working well into July 2024

I bought my KRUPS coffee maker and KRUPS coffee grinder new at a local store (back in those days) in February 1997. My KRUPS grinder appears identical to this F2034251, but mine is "Model 203B" made in Mexico (at first glance I was a bit concerned as I'd hoped it had been made in Germany). My KRUPS grinder is still working well into July 2024 when I posted this review. As I read some negative reviews here it has me wondering what might have changed? I paid $19.99 for mine, and have had more than my money's worth for excellent performance and longevity.

Good quality, sleek design and decent price!

This is my second KRUPS coffee grinder. The first one functioned very well for years. Since the first day I received it and used it to grind my coffee, I love my new KRUPS grinder--more powerful motor, sleek design and good quality! Only few seconds to grind my morning coffee. Excellent brand with decent price! LOVE it!

50 yr old Krups 203 Coffee Grinder finally shuts down!

We inherited this Krups 203 grinder from my wife's father and have used it occasionally over the years and today it finally stopped working! This could be 40-50 yrs old? Hope you still make products this simple, great and lasting, unlike almost every other home appliance today built with planned obsolence!

Krups grinds finer and faster

I've used other brands, but Krups is better. The Krups New Fast Touch Electric Coffee and Spice Grinder with Stainless Steel Blades in Black is a versatile and efficient kitchen appliance. With its powerful motor and durable stainless steel blades, it quickly grinds coffee beans, spices, and nuts to your desired consistency.

Nearly 20 Years of Perfect Grinding

I almost never write product reviews. This however has to be an exception. In part because I am a bit heartbroken at having to say farewell to my KRUPS Type F203 grinder. I don't recall if I bought it in 2004 or 2007, however it has remained a faithful part of my daily coffee routine when other parts broke (faretheewell, old french presses and stovetop espresso maker). I had gotten to the point where by the sound alone I could tell just how finely my beans had been ground, whether more course for the french press or finer grinds for other methods.

Turns my seeds into powder

I really like this little machine. It’s pretty strong, even grind my fenugreek seeds which are extremely hard they like rocks. It had no trouble grinding them down into a powder in seconds.. I would definitely recommend this little machine. It does the job. And the price was right?

GRIND ,GRIND, GRINDER

this is a very good spice grinder. I had no issue grinding whole nutmeg, fennel seed and other spices. worked great for tums so I could drench my goat with calcium.

High quality product

I am rating this according to simplicity, streamlined appearance, quality of materials in the burr grinder and the price.

Don't Bother

Quality no longer the same on this item. Purchased in October of 2022 and it has already died. No apparent reason. Well taken care of per manual and well within the warranty of 2 yrs. This is my second unit. First died with same symptoms, (push on power button and no grind just loud humming sound). Called customer care and they will send new unit. Thing is, I really don't want a new unit. I'm done with this brand/grinder. It obviously is not manufactured/designed well enough to last. The money is not the issue, but rather the quality and hassle of replacement. I want items to last. I won't be bothered next time.

Loved It But It Died Fast

I purchased this from Walmart and was happy with it. Grinded coffee about two times and 2 times to mix spices. Blades would not turn and the motor made some noise but nothing like the first time it was used. Tried using it today again. Blades didn't turn and the bottom and sides of the grinder started to heat up and smoke began to come out from underneath. It made my kitchen area stink for a bit. Was hoping it would last longer given it has so many positive reviews.

Terrible grinder!

I bought this about 6 months ago. It's one of the worst designed products I've seen in my 60yrs of life! Whoever designed it should be fired for incompetence! The blade CANNOT be removed to facilitate easy cleaning! A simple metal butterfly nut would let us remove the blade! How much cheaper was the plastic nut that CAN'T BE REMOVED!?! The stupid metal insert should go all the way to the top otherwise the ground up products stick to the metal insert rim & ARE NEARLY IMPOSSIBLE TO GET OUT OF THE CREVICES ALONG THE TOP EDGE! Why are corporations so stupid to elicit consumer product feedback BEFORE RELEASING THEM! 99.99% of people WON'T LEAVE A REVIEW! They simply trash the product AND NEVER BUY THAT BRAND AGAIN!!!

Good ITEM

Neat little item. I only used it once to grind nuts and cinnamon sticks (yes cinnamon sticks) and it came out almost perfect, considering that the blade is a little high. Reason I think that it's not only made to grind spices but also coffee. I am quite satisfied with the result of my grinds as nothing is 100% perfect that is made by MAN. And so I highly recommend this little thing, for what its worth. Price was not bad at all. I will follow up with reviews later if anything arose that is major. Otherwise this is a very good item.

Easy to use, great value for the $.

In 1999 I bought this Krups grinder because we had limited space and it was just the two of us. For some reason I stopped buying whole bean coffee and switched around to the pod way of life. Fast forward to this month (December 2022), a friend from Philly gave me some whole bean coffee and I dug my grinder out of the pantry, fired it up and, WHAT WAS I THINKING? Best cup of coffee ever! So now the pod machine will make a handsome hand-me-down. This grinder is excellent, the coffee flavorful. I do clean it after use (with the included brush).

Great entry-level blade/non-burr grinder

I use it as a casual coffee grinder, and it's worked well for my purposes. Unless something unexpected happens, I can see it lasting years. Pulsing beans 2x usually gets it approx the right consistency for a pourover. It has a short cord to remind you to always unplug so you can store it. Pretty generic design that all grinders of this style have. Easy clean with a damp towel. Grind is visually uneven, but that's to be expected with a blade grinder.

I used this grinder for a few years and i enjoyed it. For being on a budget, this grinder is affordable. The downside is that mine stopped working after 2 years. I think it probably had some moisture in it after washing it and had an electric short which caused it to stop working. This grinder has to be washed carefully and dried completely in order to be used. In general, i bought a different grinder brand that is the same type of grinder that has worked for me for a lot longer than this one. Also, now that i know more about coffee, i wouldnt use this for coffee beans because this actually chops the beans into little bits and there are many flaws to this technique. It will generate a lot of heat which can burn the beans and alter their flavor. Further, in order to get espresso grinds, it requires more blending time which produces more fines which causes channeling and over extraction issues when making espresso. Overall, i think this can be a good beginner and budget option, but if you're serious about coffee, something like this is not meant for coffee. My future grinder that i want is going to be a burr style grinder which crushes the beans and will make better grinds for coffee.
