Gorgeous - except for the carbon monoxide

Our renovated house came with this brand new Kucht oven. We immediately detected a gas smell while using it. Kucht's "customer service" gave us the runaround for 10 months - multiple video calls suggesting the same fixes, over 6 months for an utterly incompetent service technician to show, etc. I finally called our gas utility provider who immediately discovered that the oven was emitting 1600+ ppm of carbon monoxide continuously while in operation, and flammable amounts of unignited natural gas (7.7 %V/V). It would have climbed even higher on his meter if he hadn't shut it off, said "never use this again," and shut off the gas valve to the oven.

Excellent 36"

This was installed 2 Weeks ago. I purchased it as the first item in our new Kitchen addition back in October from Lowes. Everything went great, delivery was awesome. Now that I have been using the Range. I am loving the quickness getting your cookware ready to go. The color is amazing and the bonus SS door and kick plate were just one more bonus to buy this beauty. I paired it with the Kucht under cabinet exhaust fan which blows all other competition away. Loving the investment, and the compliments just keep coming in. Thank you!

New stove

While updating our kitchen, we wanted to upgrade to a commercial type of oven with a reasonable price tag. I decided to try this stove without any reference or being able to see it in person first. We just installed it and used it for the first time, the quality is amazing...we already want to upgrade to a bigger Kucht! To our surprise as well, when we ordered a colored door for the stove we got both the plain stainless that it comes with PLUS the colored door. It was nice to see that since we paid extra for a color, we got more than just a color...and entirely additional door. Great to have the original one for a back up just incase anything ever happened to the other one.

Big Disappointment!

This range has been a huge disappointment. I read the so-called stellar reviews before purchasing, and wonder if people were paid to write positive reviews. There is a strong smell of propane when we turn on the oven and while on, sounds like it is relighting several times while heating. I can't see the temperature of the oven on the knob unless I using the light on my phone, and the LED indicator lights don't work, and have never worked. It is hard to calibrate the temperature of the oven. as well as the convention oven without overcooking or overbaking our food items. I had a KitchenAid previously, and have been very disappointed with this purchase. I would not recommend it to anyone.

Beautiful range but ongoing issues.

This is a beautiful range. The stove burners function perfectly. However, I am still unable to use my oven as I have had ongoing issues since installation in December 2023. (It is now March 2024). After a call to tech after not being able to resolve a soot issue in the oven--my btrand new oven is completely black inside (I had the installers come back as I assumed it was an install issue) I was told my oven was apparently shipped with the wrong burner. After waiting months for the new burner to arrive, I rescheduled a call with a tech only to find out even if I was able to swap out the burner I would need to have the installers come back a third time. I am fed up that it seems to be my responsibility to sort out an issue that was created by a product that was assembled incorrectly. And don't even get me started on the issues with my Kucht dishwasher.

Love my Kucht Range

When making a decision on purchasing this range, I read reviews prior to making a purchase. This is a large purchase so I did my homework. This range has definitely lived up to the reviews. This company stands behind it's products. They called to make sure I was happy with my purchase. The oven heats up quickly, which if you are a busy person like I am that saves time and is important. The six burners are great when cooking large meals. The one issue we had was a pilot light that needed replaced after we have had the range 3 years. When their service repair person was ill, they flew in someone from out of state to repair our oven. WHO DOES THAT!! Just an awesome experience. ALSO, SO IMPORANT AMERICAN MADE!!! Love this company. I just purchased a new house and plan to remove my brand new built in oven and replace it with a Kucht.

Center Piece for Dream Kitchen

This beautiful Kucht 36" gas range is the center piece of our kitchen in our newly built custom home. We have been in the home for about 5 months now and use the range daily. I love it.

DO NOT PURCHASE KUTCH OVENS

Long story short, we heated the oven and the entire inside was covered in black soot going through the oven vent and blackening our new tile backsplash. That was the start to a customer service nightmare with KUTCH. We called Kutch to report the issue, we were told that they manufactured incorrectly it did not arrive as LP form the factory (known issue). Long story short we have been sent 4 different orifices on 4 different occasions, then were told it was not an LP issue and it was the U burner. Long long story, we did all the repair work with a facetime call and still it's not working right. We have a lemon stove, no oven and no resolution. The customer service is non-existent, Kutch is a poorly run company and shocking they are still in business after reading the complaints online. Shame on you for selling ovens that don't work, for not valuing customers and not standing behind your products. I still have the range/oven in my kitchen, I have never been able to use the oven only the range. I am fed up with even calling Kutch, having a $3k oven sit idle in my kitchen has sucked and even worse dealing with an incompetent company is waste of my time. We were told finally they could offer a tech to do a house call, it's been weeks of not getting an appointment. I am not one to be wasteful but at this point I am preparing to call it a total loss and buy a new range/oven so I can start to enjoy cooking in my kitchen. I have zero confidence a tech will fix the oven, KUTCH should be out of business period. Take your hard earned money and buy a different oven, don't be fooled by the warranty promise it's all false advertising and they won't offer a replacement. WHAT A SCAM, HOME DEPOT STOP CARRYING THIS COMPANY NOW!

Beautiful stove

My husband purchased this stove and decided to renovate the entire kitchen around the stove!! I love everything about this stove!! It feels so sturdy. The stainless steel color is perfect!! It definitely looks like a higher quality steel than our other appliances, which I had expected!! I love the interior oven color.. it a bright speckled blue. The oven racks are very sturdy also and the method in which they slide out is perfect! One of my favorite aspects of this stove is the ability to change the door and knob colors. I wanted a stove with brass like knobs .. the husband wasn’t feeling that adventurous, but I know within a few years I can persuade him to update the look of the stove/oven!!

Customer service all talk, no results

DO NOT BUY. SO mamy problems. Research many web sites to get the truth. NOT A 4.7 OR NEAR.

The Durability is Highly Questionable

Kucht mimics res-pro gas ranges but there are distressing issues with the brand, Purchased in Sept & used just before Thanksgiving in 2023. After a week, I saw dull 'dots' on the stove's black surface around the 21,000 BTU burner. Cleaning showed me it was not grease as the 'dots' did not smear or lighten. Dots were 'in' the glossy finish. The burner pan is not fired ceramic with a glaze, it is GLOSSY PAINT. The quality is CHEAP & not durable. Customer service doesn't return calls. AVOID!

Impressive oven, wish it had a few extras though

The oven is impressive, spacious and heats evenly. The stove top is likewise quite nice, easy to clean. I just wish it had better space to set things down quickly or to store things. It's just oven and stovetop no storage space and no space to put utensils while using the unit. Also, received this oven as a gift for Christmas and honestly it is overkill for a home unit. I mean, we do a lot of cooking but my god this is a PROFESSIONAL unit. So keep that in mind. You could open a restaurant with this thing! But for this reason I wouldn't recommend it, unless as a unit for a professional cooking situation.

Looks great, some parts are missing

The range looks beautiful and I look forward to enjoying using it.

Lowe’s & Kucht ruined Christmas & broken my heart

I waited 2 months for the issues to be resolved and nothing.

Take your money elsewhere. I was sent a unit that had been damaged at the factory but boxed up and delivered anyway. Upon arrival to my house, it would heat up to 900+ degrees without regard to the dial setting with the outer surface becoming scalding hot. Turns out, the thermostat was shattered and not even connected anymore. Although it was replaced, the oven still would not keep a consistent temperature, but I could manage by turning it off and on as it got too hot or cold. Fast forward to the night before Thanksgiving, and the oven went out completely. Thanks a lot, Kucht. Customer service is non-existent and doesn't return phone calls in anything near a reasonable amount of time. This should have been replaced immediately when it was discovered to be so damaged, but instead I'm stuck with absolute garbage a year and a half later. Would never recommend. Check the BBB and you'll see that this is not an isolated incident.

Dangerous! Terrible Oven!

This oven is unsafe and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Our oven heats to over 230 degrees (F) hotter than the set point. Even when set at the lowest possible temperature the oven still runs excessively hot and uneven. We haven't been able to properly cook a single meal yet.

A stove for Luddites

I finally got my wife to agree to replace our 70 year old stove. We looked at all the top brands that range in price for $6-8000. I did not want a wifi or bluetooth connected stove. I didn't need all the electronics that just go wrong. We live in a rural area and any stove other than your basic Whirlpool or GE is difficult to service. I wanted a basic stove that cooks and bakes. I don't need a clock, timer or delayed start. When I cook, I am there; cooking. If I need a timer I have a phone, microwave and and old fashioned dial type timer. I started looking for a commercial type range without all the electronic crap and stumbled on the Kucht. I could not be happier. The stove is well built and is really beautiful. It has a powerful burner to boil water or do blackened snapper or Cajun shrimp. It does a beautiful simmer for cooking rice. The only added features are electronic ignition (good bye pilot lights), a convection oven that works off an analog switch and an oven light. I opted for the red face plates to match our kitchen. (If we ever change the color of the kitchen it also comes with a separate stainless door and kick plate.) It comes with a 4 year warranty. If anything goes wrong Kucht will walk you through any repairs but there is not much to go wrong with the stove. At less than half the price of anything comparable, it is an outstanding value.
