This was thee worse tree top I've ever owned. Every 2 or 3 says it would quit working. My husband tapped on it 2 different times and it started back up. Finally quit. Husband took it apart and several were burnt out. He replaced them & 4 days later it started doing the same thing. Looks are deceiving with this beautiful tree top. We think the bulbs might be too hot. We're gonna order lower voltage and see what happens. Very disappointed and much a loyal Overstock Customer SSL in Washington State

Expected better quality from Kurt Adler

Lovely star tree topper in the style we were looking for...not crazy about the "cheap" looking plastic it is made out of. :( We're still going to use it but its not our favorite.

It blows bulbs fast.

Bulbs keep burning out. They only give you 4 extras. I think they get too hot. Trying to find replacements. Adler won't help.

Beautiful star, led illumination is bismal.

It's a nice star however, I'm not a fan of the led lights. They take away from the star and the brilliance that it should be with regular bulbs. I returned this one because of that reason.

[Rewarded Review] Kurt Adler 10 Light 11" Bethlehem Star Tree Topper

This is the second Kurt Adler Star Topper I've purchased from JCPenney this Christmas season. The first one I was so excited about as exactly the right color and shape. But it stopped working the first week after I put it up. Even though more expensive than those at other stores I bought it due to color and shape. When quit working (the first one) I threw it away thinking bad luck and cheap product - but due to Kurt Adler name reordered. It came and worked for three days - literally. Now it often might turn on but then go dark, if tapped lightly it might come on for a bit and then go dark again. So disappointing for the cost and I bought two. Would not recommend and very disappointed as I buy all Kurt Adler ornaments so I had thoought quality there. Writing this now as the star just went dark again. So disappointed and with Christmas this week no other stars to be found to replace for the family dinner. Just want one that works. Both purchased via JC Penney within holiday season this year.

Pretty!

The package was clearly opened before so I didn’t really like that because I was worried it wouldn’t work. Since it was clearly a returned item I would of preferred to have it at discount. I love it otherwise. Thankfully everything worked out!

Light and bright!

I had read a review that it was difficult to place on top of the tree. I believe that they didnt find the cone in the bottom of the box. Just fyi, these are warm white bulbs not cool white as I expected. Still a great tree topper

This Star tree topper is perfect!

It is lightweight plastic that appears to be crystal. It is beautiful and works very well atop my tree its light weight enough to stand straight without extra support. A great find to top off my Christmas tree.

The product works well, and it has extra fuses and bulbs!

I’m very pleased with this star of Bethlehem tree topper as I wanted one that was like the star that shine over the nativity.

This is a beautiful Bethlehem star we added to our outdoor nativity. The item was described as "glass" but is plastic. It shipped earlier than projected.

We used this 2 years, the lights went out and there doesn't seem to be a way to replace them. I had anticipated several more years of use.
