It would not reset from daylight saving time to standard time

I followed all the instructions; it is even on a west wall with no obstructions. Originally gave it a good review because I got my dates mixed up. Looks ok and seems to keep good time, but I got it specifically for the clock resettings. Very disappoinred.

Never reset clock twice a year ever again.

Are you sick and tired of waiting for the government to do away with daylight savings time so you don't have to reset your clock twice a year? This clock is the answer. Remove from shipping box, install AA cells, set time zone switch and daylight savings on, and hang it on the wall. You will probably need to wait over night for the clock to set itself. While trying to update from time standard WWVB in Fort Collins Colorado, it will rest at 12:00. Next morning the clock will show the correct time.

This clock was easy to set up. I followed package instructions to set for DST and for the time zone then inserted a battery. It did the rest. I have the clock on an interior wall but it faces west, which I was concerned about. The clock set itself in about 10 minutes without help from me. It was fascinating to watch!

La Cross atomic wall clock.

In my home office I have 7 clocks displaying various time zones. I used this as one of those clocks. Have had it about 3 months, just after DST so didn't get to test the spring forward feature, will wait until fall back. Would recommend this clock.

clock worked exactly as it should. I set the time zone, (est), put a battery in and set the clock near a window. It took about two hours for the clock to show the correct time. I did not set it manually. It is now on the wall operating perfectly!

Very accurate

Set up clock and had to wait 24hrs for atomic clock to sync. It finally did and it is keeping perfect time. When the time dropped back I had to change the switch on the back to turn off DST. Other wise good unit.

Great clock!

I am a Massage Therapist and needed a non-ticking clock for my office, this one is perfect! Easy to set up the "atomic" feature. I tried a few times with no success at first but when I placed it near a window it found the signal quickly and set itself to the correct time. The numbers are easy to read in low light conditions. I am very happy with my purchase!

This clock is fantastic. Soon as I selected CST and put the battery in (1-AA) the clock hands started moving and set the correct time. Easy to see the hands and is a attractive looking wall clock. Automatically resets time to Daylight Savings Time

Great value, precise timekeeping, very legible

Look at the title again, then the price, and there you have all you really need to know. It needs just one (1) AA battery so that's another plus for me. And if you actually read the instructions provided you can't go wrong. Just make sure you place the clock someplace where it can get the radio signal from Colorado. If you're unlucky enough to live in a concrete bunker you still can set the clock manually. I honestly dont't know what else to say... If you need a discreetly sized but very legible 10-inch diameter wall clock that is highly accurate for very little money, here it is. Enough said.

It's QUIET & accurate!

After trying several clocks, I finally found the SILENT clock. The atomic feature worked as advertised. The only complain I have is the size. The clock face is a bit smaller than I anticipated for a 10" clock due to the thick bezel. In addition, the numbers on the face are too thin. Not as readable as I would like. Overall, I am happy with it for the first two reasons.

A little odd/difficult to get it to set...Retrieves the time via radio signal...Read instruction sheet carefully (it's behind the cardboard backer in the package).

Partly as a hobby, I have extensively examined, analyzed, and tested analog type radio-controlled clocks (they have hands instead of digits) from all over the world, and the La Crosse Technology models are without question the finest design available at any price. And don't bother shopping around. The Walmart price can't be beat. Just pop in a battery, press one button to select the time zone, and stand back. In a few minutes you will be amazed to see the hands move as the clock sets itself to the precise hour, minute, and second. Every home should have one of these.

Not really what I needed

My daughter thought this clock would be good for our kitchen. It looks very nice, but I prefer the numbers to be bolder, particularly when I look at the clock from the next room. I suspected this before purchasing, but decided to see it in my kitchen before making a final decision. Am returning clock.

Amazing clock.

I needed a new clock and could not find a simple yet quality one at my local Walmart. I decided to look online and I am so happy I did. It has an added bonus of LaCrosse Technology. I was not familiar with a clock being able to set itself and it was fascinating to watch. No more worries about a clock being too fast or too slow. Great product!

this clock did not set automatically. after doing exactly what the instructions said, and, logging on to the clockmakers website and doing exactly what they said, it was an utter failure.

Good Value

This clock replaces one from a different manufacturer that had served me well for many years before it quit working. I needed a 10" clock and this one seems to be fine. I set the correct time zone as instructed, inserted the battery and the clock set itself within five minutes. It is very quiet and has kept time since I installed it. The only drawback from my perspective is that I'm having a little trouble getting used to the appearance, as my other clock had a larger face and the numbers were bolder.

Just what I needed

I had a clock with large numbers in my bedroom that I could easily see without my glasses (I'm 79). The only trouble was that the ticking drove me crazy. After checking the reviews of this clock, I found that several people said it was quiet. I was disappointed when I opened the package, because the numbers were so small and not bold. However when I hung it up and got used to looking at it, I realized that the hands were very bold, which made it easy to tell the time, even across the room. And it is silent!!!!

Great so far

I wanted a clock to go over the garage side entry door but dreaded the thought of getting up on a ladder every 6 months to reset the clock whenever the time changed. I'm hoping this will solve that problem. This clock is very good looking. It set itself within 10 minutes (fun to watch) and has worked fine so far (couple of weeks). If it re-sets itself in the fall when DST ends I'll be one happy customer!

A clock that sets itself

This clock seems to have a magical link to the universe--or at least to universal time, whatever that is--since it automatically resets itself whenever it crosses a timeline or has a battery replaced. It even adjusts itself to daylight savings. Unfortunately, this perfect timepiece is always 10 minutes faster than my radio or computer. Other than that, it's perfect--well-designed and virtually unbreakeable.
