Very disappointed. For the price I thought I was purchasing an actual quilt. This is not a quilt. It's more like a bedspread. There is no batting inside the quilt which equals zero warmth. It looks nice on the bed, but this is not a quilt.

Very pleased with the coverlet. It shrank a little more than I thought. I knew it was grey and white. I really wanted one that was more off white but I couldn’t find one as that would have matched the headboard and drapery that I made. If the shrinkage was not as much I would have given it a 5

This quilt is just like the picture, but the description on line says the back is blue when it is really light gray to match the quilt front. Nice quality but I needed to wash and dry it before using. The side length could be a little longer but overall it is a good product.

Purchased for our Airbnb and it's PERFECT.

This is a beautiful set. We purchased for our airbnb and it is easy to look clean and also easy to wash! VALUE! We get a lot of people that comment in our feedback about how much they love our bedding. Just purchased a red and white for Christmas!

Love this quilt. Navy blue color is really nice. I bought King for a queen mattress and box spring, because I anticipate some shrinkage when I wash and dry it. I bought the navy striped sheet set to go with this. Unfortunately, the navy stripes in the sheet set are a darker navy, but it still works.

Cute. Average. Nicely made. The check pattern is printed on the fabric. It is not the kind where different color threads are woven to create the variations in a true woven check pattern. Washes well.

Great Lightwieght Quilt!

This is a great lightweight quilt for spring and summer. The colors are a true navy blue and white. The pillow shams are larger than standard and need a queen size pillow to make them full. It has washed and dried great with a little shrinkage but that is expected because of the 100% cotton.

A big Eddie Bauer fan. But this comforter wasn’t to their usual standards. Fabric felt rough-Like denim the wife said. After laying the comforter on the bed for a few hours the wrinkles were still there. Then Wayfair charged 15 for return freight.

Colors hold up really well. Have washed it several times. Light to medium weight. I now pair it with a big fluffy white blanket to add a softer touch. It's not as long as the image shows, so be sure to measure to make sure it meets your needs. It also has "straighter" drape than that shown in the O image, which you can see in my photo. The O image looks more like a comforter to me. I wanted a quilt look, but it's something to keep in mind.

Perfect selection for son's college apartment!

This comforter set was the perfect selection for my son's college apartment. It was nicer than pictured! Well made; lightweight; but, still provides plenty of warmth. The color reminds me of different shades of denim. I paired it with "fly fishing" sheets I found on Overstock and it was a great ensemble for his senior year!

Very classy quilt set

This quilt set was very classy and is so versatile for combining with other patterns and colors! I have silver colored furniture, a bright aqua rug, and a cream loveseat with gold, bright aqua and hot pink Lilly Pulitzer pillows. This quilt adds the perfect touch to the room. I purchase the King and it fits our bed perfect! No pulling or tugging the quilt back and forth at night like we’ve experienced with other brands’ King quilts. Fit as expected. Will definitely purchase backups so we’ll have when this one has run it’s course.

Cute, but fades

I live on a farm in a literal farmhouse and this went with my decor style beautifully. It was a little rough before the first wash, but was durable even with dogs sleeping on it. I only gave it 4 stars because unfortunately after a few washes, it started noticeably fading. It started to look old after just a few months so I replaced it with something else. I would buy again if I knew it was going in a guest room & would last longer.

Very small; color is slighly off

This quilt is far too small for my king bed. I tried turning it both directions and either way, it didn’t even reach the point where the mattress meets the box spring portion of the bed. I have a memory foam, adjustable bed so no pillow top or anything that makes the mattress thicker than normal. I literally took the quilt out of the bag, laid it over the bed, and folded it back up to return. Also, the gray is a very purple gray. I was needing more of a true gray, however this may not have been a dealbreaker for me had the quilt been larger in size.

Okay, I love this quilt. The fabric is soft, it is cut exactly square, so the plaids run straight and true, and the size is generous, maybe to allow for shrinkage. Other reviewers have mentioned that the quilting is not aligned with the plaid, and unfortunately, that is true on mine too - all of the stitching that runs top to bottom is off. It is distracting, but I got this quilt for such a great price, and I love it so much, I am keeping it, and am going to take out all the bad stitching and redo it. I have been a seamstress all my life, and should have no problem. It’s still a pretty quilt, exactly what I wanted, except for the bad quilting.

Husband and I both run hot, so the fact that this quilt is a bit on the thin side is perfect for us. The fabric is soft and comfortable and I love the bright blue and white pattern, but I'm not a fan of the way it washes. One round through the washing machine left the filler bunched up instead of spread neatly throughout, so it's a bit lumpy in several spots now. Because the quilt is so thin the lumps aren't super noticeable, but you can feel them, and I think that given the cost it should have held up much better in the washing machine. The fabric is also a bit flimsy, it snags and tears easily. Not the best choice if you have pets with claws. I don't regret buying it, I love the way it looks and it's very comfortable to sleep under, but it won't last long and will have to be replaced within a year or so.

Great size and design

Color/ Design: I was looking for something to throw on the bed for the summer...lightweight, nice design, comfortable. It's got a kind of washed denim look to it. The Eddie Bauer Lakehouse Cotton Blue Quilt reminded me of my Mom's picnic basket she used to bring with us to cookouts. I'm not entirely sure what I want to do with my bedroom in terms of theme or whatever, but I think this will eventually fit it. Size/ Fit: My bed is a Full/queen size and I was worried this wouldn't fit well, but it absolutely provides great cover, nearly to the floor. The pillow shams that came with it fit my full pillows. My queen size pillows would not have fit in them. Comfort: It's certainly isn't the softest material in the world and I wouldn't confuse this with the softness of a comforter or throw blanket. It's not rough, either, but maybe some where in the middle. That's why I'm not giving it 5 stars. The Eddie Bauer blue quilt is light weight and perfect for the warmer spring and summer months that are fast approaching. Quality: Tough to say after only a few days with it. I did wash the shams and they came out fine with no pilling or wear. I wasn't really sure what to expect in terms of thickness or stuffing. It really doesn't have much. The material seems like good quality. Seems like this is more of a topper than an actual blanket used for warmth. But I think that was intended.

Can't go wrong with buffalo check

I do love a classic buffalo plaid...and don't even get me started how much I love blue and white. This is a great set. It doesn't feel great coming out of the package, but after washing the sizing out it's much better. Note that the pattern is printed on the fabric vs the actual threads being blue and white and creating the plaid during the weaving process. Although I would have preferred the latter, given the price, I don't mind the printed plaid. I really like the contrast fabric on the back, too.

Jagged, uneven stitching

The stitching is jagged and uneven and the white thread really makes this standout on the darker blue squares. It was like this all across the quilt. I don’t know if the one I received is defective or if others just don’t mind the off stitching. I purchased both the quilt and comforter versions of this pattern and returned the quilt and kept the comforter set. In person, the comforter is more true navy while the quilt is more denim blue. Before purchasing, I was leaning toward the quilt so I’m glad I bought both to compare. Aside from the stitching and the color discrepancy, the quilt seemed well made.

[Rewarded Review] So soft

I've become a huge EB fan over the last year when it comes to my bed stuff. I got this quilt recently as a good neutral/year round type cover for my bed. I have others that seem too short on the sides, I don't have a deep mattress, so I don't like that they don't completely cover the sides. This one covers the sides completely, may even work for some of the deeper mattresses (probably not the super deep ones though), and it's still plenty long enough. It's nice and soft, if I can find it in a throw I would probably buy one to have on the couch. I've purchased several items from the brand over the last few months and my bed is super cozy, and everything fits properly.

Love, love, love

This item is just as pictured. I love that it's 100% cotton and quilted all over. I dislike microfiber and shams, so this is perfect. I haven't washed it yet but I already know what will happen when I do. The cotton will wrinkle up just a bit and have that perfect "handmade quilt" charm -- just what I want! I love the size on the bed. It hangs down the side just the right amount. The shams look great and the color is great in the room. It's a perfect match with the navy chalk painted night stands. I really couldn't be happier!
