The fact that the manufacturer wood stapled the bottom of the table, which was difficult to remove (!) is a non-starter, idiotic.

Wood a little darker than picture, too shiny, scratches easy

After having this for 3 years, the veneer on the top of the table has started to rub away in patches. It’s not fixable because it’s veneer. Awful quality.

Nice solid wood, and very sturdy. I like the look of it. However, as others have mentioned, the staples on the underside are virtually impossible to remove. In my case, some of the cushioning material is trapped underneath the staples, so if you are at eye level with the top, you see white packing material hanging off the underside. I am still trying to find someone to help me get them out of there, but I'm afraid to damage the table in the process. Very poor packing design. Otherwise, I am happy with it.

There is lead in this table

How is it legal for Home Depot to sell this piece of furniture when there is lead in it? LEAD. It says ‘prop 65’ which means nothing as far as im concerned. We only noticed the sticker when we went to tighten the bolts after having this very mediocre table for over a year.Crossley had me on hold for an hour and 23 minutes just to tell me ‘it says prop 65 so you assumed the risk’. I think Home Depot should refund everyone’s money and remove Crossley furniture from their inventory. I’m disgusted.

Beautiful and sturdy table. Assembly was very simple and took little time. My only complain is that the wrappers around the legs were stapled to the bottom of the the table and I have not been able to pull out the staple pins.
