Did not like that it had a lot of marks on the opposite side so it looked dirty it should have been clear

It does do the job BUT the clack - clack - clack of the knife against the glass is loud and extremely annoying. Glad I didn't throw away my old one.

I love these for protecting kitchen worktops. You can put anything on them (including hot items straight from the cooktop or oven). They are barely noticeable on the bench, so they don't detract from the overall look of your kitchen. This is the best priced one I've seen, but it's still a high quality item. I actually bought this one for my son who has just moved out of home. His kitchen has very little bench space or places to put things, so this allows him to use the available space for anything without any fear of damage.
