Chicken coop

I received 2x the same package with 2 different labels. twice the contents of box 1/2. I can't build my chicken coop! Fedex was supposed to come pick up the second package, but they didn't come! I am very disappointed!

i purchased to catch 3 wild chickens, which I was able to. The assembly was time consuming because chicken wire has to be attached thru the entire bldg. About 8 hours, however nice bldg. and roomy enough for the 3.

Fantastic secondary barrier to keep my chickens safe. I had this built around my current chicken coop so they could roam freely and safely during the days and then confined to their smaller chicken coop inside this larger coop. I did reinforce the area around the bottom that is ground level so that it wouldn’t be easy for a predator to dig under. Otherwise, I’m super happy with this coop.

Terrible purchase

Do not buy this junk. Assembly is by TONS of zipties. Took forever, is not secure or sturdy, the door had to be modified for the latch to fit properly and my hands are scrapped from assembly.

Not exactly as advertised

Shipping from manufacturer was timely but after that shipment was delayed in-between contracted courier companies. The manufacturer states new and chain link however, poorly pre-drilled holes aren't lined up and the chain link is actually coated chicken wire with no top guide wire to hold anything taunt. Made things work but crossing my fingers my rotti cross will be in the enclosure and not eating my flowers in the yard!

Not bad, you’ll probably need extra cable ties to make it more secure. Handle is a nightmare so you might want to consider al alternative as an upgrade, we use the original and just swear at it a lot.

It’s a perfect little chicken run, I’ll need to cover the sides for winter so the chickens can be out of the snow. I bought a larger before and the only complaint is the zip ties are not strong enough. I’m already needing to replace them after 1 year.

Not The Best But It’ll Do

The pictures are somewhat deceptive. The wire that comes with it is on a roll and in order to go all the way up you have to piece together two different strands. The tarp for the top is loose and I have no idea how it’s supposed to keep rain from getting in. All in all it’s chintzy but it’ll work. Some additional reinforcement would be warranted on the front by a bar running from the door to the sides, similar to the brace bars on the ends. The size is good for about 3 hens, I wouldn’t do any more than that. Stretch the wire taught or you’ll have chickens running amuck as they love to test boundaries.

[Rewarded Review] Poor Quality

Didn’t come with enough zip ties. Also the chicken wire is very easy to rip through as mine already has holes in it. With more zip ties you would be able to make it tighter and animals couldn’t bust through it.

What a fantastic find. I am so thankful I found this gem of a coop. I am a small woman and managed assembling all by myself, wiring myself and adding a lower section of construction cloth for additional safety, by myself. Did I do it in 8 hours? No. I began over the 3 day holiday weekend while off work, then finished the following Saturday. The kit came with 250 zip ties. HAHAHAHA. I ended up buying about 8 more packs. Tip: Pull the wire tight so there is no wobble-wear gloves, zip tie often. Like sewing stitches. Once I got my structure completed, I added an additional tarp across the back because it was somewhat vulnerable to open woodland. Perfect timing too, my girls did not want to come back into the smaller enclosure after their first visit. So much space. Since, I've added a dirt bath, a large bale of straw, and of course, grow-up feeder and water. I love their space too.

We have purchased and assembled TWO of these cages, one for turkey poults and one for chickens. They were not difficult for us to assemble (two people) and came very complete. The exterior carboard was destroyed on the second shipment, but all of the parts were there because the smaller parts were in another box inside of the larger one. We did, however, purchase heavier cable ties due to the very strong winds we have here in Wyoming as well as deeper pegs to hold them down. They are not meant to keep the predators here out but to keep the birds contained. Very happy with the purchases.

Shipped same day I bought. Received in 2 days. Set up was easy and all parts were in box. More than enough netting to wrap the run. Took awhile to assemble and the zip ties was the bulk of it. Tie downs are ok but will use bigger ones to hold it down more and then mulch around it.

This frame very secure and came with ample wire to secure it.

The chicken run was really nice. It was very easy to assemble. My one critique is the instructions are very vague and challenging to interpret. Basically you have to decipher 6 pictures into the final product. Otherwise it was good. The zip ties are not very good many break on install. For a few cents more on their end... they should have used better quality there.

I think we only waited one day to receive the product! It took my husband and daughter about two hours to put together! The quality is good and our first one we bought a year ago is still in amazing shape!! We love ASOM and we have not been disappointed yet! Highly recommend!

Really good product. The metal bars are a bit thinner than I thought they’d be, but this works well for what I need. It leaves enough space for my chicken coop with plenty of room for the chickens to roam around.

this is perfect for our chickens. Comes in 2 boxes, one is quite heavy. Directions are easy to follow.

Reasonably priced option for a chicken coop that is lightweight and easily moved around by two people. I went with 7ft tall plastic deer netting for the the roof section as it spanned the rafter poles better than the included 3ft tall green chicken wire that was included. Added some rubber pads on the bottom of all the feet to prevent rust. The latch for the entry door is a little awkward and gets hung up easily so I will likely modify to something simpler\better. be prepared for a few hours and hundreds of cable tie fastening to get all the mesh tight. But all around it fit my needs nicely. would buy again

It is just as pictured. Difficult to understand directions for a female. More than anything, I would have appreciated much more sturdy wire. It is very thin and there are bears here and one could easily take the whole coop down with no problems.

Great product. Just what we ne

Great product. Just what we needed to stop our hens straying. Goes up quickly. Bit fiddly to attach wire to frame but not difficult, lots of cable ties (supplied) keep it in place. We did it in two evenings after work, but before it got dark. We’re not great at DIY. If you can put up a tent and wrap a present you could do this. Door catch snags a little on the netting but sorted that with a bit of duct tape. All good
