Absolutely reminds me of going to thrifty after school and getting a 3 scoop cone, for 15 cents! Works wonderfully!

As far as I can tell this is a quality product and very well made.

Observation: Need to get ice cream in oval or very large containers as the round 1/2 gallon ones are not large enough to use this easily. But still nice! Like other scoopers having container of hot water to dip in before using helps! Easier to use for my hands than the scoops I have!

Thrifty Ice Cream Retro Scoop

It came later than projected but was in good shape. I gave it as a gift and it was a big hit. Thought it was a bit overpriced.
