I bought three of these pots in October 2019 and, by end of August 2020, two of the pots had developed a crack along almost the entire length of the pot. These were not cheap pots so I was surprised. I do not recommend these pots.

Beautiful,affordable,sturdy big pots. They look like terra cotta, but they will be even more durable than clay pots. Used an electric drill to bore a drainage hole in the bottom. You could use these indoors, they are that attractive.

The pots were a nice soft charcoal color, light in weight but yet seemed durable. They match very well with a Mesabi granite stone monument that they will be installed in black urn stands. They did have a 'burnt wood' smell to them when first opened, probably from the recycled process they are made out of. Because of that they couldn't be kept in the house. Directions for drilling a drainage hole was helpful. Look forward to many years of usage!

Late in season in Indiana, I could not find five matching planter pots anywhere! Glad I couldn't because it led me to the internet, after searching different sites, came across these and it was exactly what I was looking for. Actually these are even better than what I would have found in my area, much better made! Very sturdy, heavier than the plastic pots but lighter than ceramic. I also purchased the Arcadia Garden Bulb Pan 12 diam, Fit perfect with these 14"pots.
