[Rewarded Review] Useful picture hangers

These are nice for wire backed pictures, just mount the hook and hang your picture! They are a bit long and are only rated for up to 11x17 inch frames and 5lbs, not sure how they’d work on a smaller picture or a more rectangular shaped one. Another great idea from command!

These are very sturdy, their great for hanging a variety of items, we have these around our home, I love picture frames but really don’t like the damage that’s caused to the walls with hammering.

[Rewarded Review] I love command strips and hooks

I truly appreciate being able to hang pictures without putting holes in my walls. The command hooks are especially helpful if you need to reposition any. Make sure your wall is clean to get maximum adhesion.

These command strips seems to work pretty well. Never tried anything heavy and they're a bit pricey sometimes for such small packages. I hope that changes one day, they're useful!

This was really good. I bought it at Walmart the first time and they also sell it at target and ShopRite. It’s really good and works well. I would definitely recommend this to friends and family members and also to my social media supporters. It’s a great product and I believe in it.

Useless

The wire hangs on the bottom of the hanger, so, unless your picture is huge, the top of the hanger is not covered by the picture; it sticks out the top. Completely useless product. Get the sawtooth hangers instead; you can easily hang a wire-backed frame on them and it hangs from the top of the hanger (not the bottom) so the whole hanger is hidden behind the picture.

QUALITY NOT AS GOOD

I have used a variety of 3M picture hooks for years & never encountered a problem...until recently. I have dozens of frames up in my house supported by 3M picture hooks-some more expensive than others. I always follow the hanging instructions:

misleading

I've been trying to hang wrapped canvas with these as well as the hangers for sawtooth hooks. The pictures are far below the weight capacity but will not stay on the wall even though I followed instructions to the letter. Very frustrating. I finally called Command and was told even though they are far under the weight shown, the canvases are too large and the hooks will not work. This should be made much more clear on the packaging. I wonder how many people have wasted money the same way I did.

I use Command strips and a variety of hooks as well. No problems changing locations. No holes and or tell tail marks. Prefer to use strips rated more than weight of frames or hooks. Glass adds a significant weight to even small sizes of displays.

I recently moved last April, and using these command strips instead of nails are so much easier, and doesn't leave a little nail hole to patch up if you mess up or want to move what your hanging up. Also great for hanging seasonal decorations too. I now try to use these all over my house instead of nails if I can help it. Great product

Hook poorly shaped

This plastic hook was hard to use to catch the wire on the back of my picture. It was also not strong enough to hold my picture. That was probably on me, I should have used two hooks or a stronger rated product. But it slipped off the wall in the middle of the night.

These are either a hit or miss. I've heard mixed feelings on the damage free hanging products. I use them in my house because nails and tacks are impossible to get into our walls , and love that I don't have a hundred nail holes in my wall. I use a few different variations of these products and never had an issue with them as long as you follow directions. Really makes a difference cleaning area before sticking.

So heres the thing with these. Any of the damage free strips have a weight limit. It isnt specified but I wouldnt attempt a hanging anything over 5lbs. It's great for small photos, scarfs, jewelry hooks, coats purses Christmas lights or decor but light weight stuff 5lb and under otherwise they will come off and they might damage your walls. Otherwise I love them

Great product.

I've used these to hang lots of pictures as well as custom framed artwork and a host of other things. I have also used them to hang china plates on a wall in the bedroom. I have used several different styles for different purposes. Each package shows a MAXIMUM weight the hook will support. DO NOT exceed this weight limit. The hooks must not be loaded for at least 1 hour after placing on the wall as the directions say. Since I don't like to continually straighten pictures, I usually use two hooks per picture. (And yes, I have a lot of money invested in Command Hooks - but they're reusable as long as you have more adhesive strips.)

OK, so as a collector of fine memorabilia, let's say movie posters. I need to frame those bad boys, because some I own are worth more than the clothes on my back -- it's true really. Anyway, I didn't want to put holes in my wall with those damn nails. I picked up the 8lb saw-tooth hangers from the wal-mart store; you can find anything there, it's weird. So I pick these bad boys up, and decided to do the impossible...I was going to use it. I had this giant stupid poster that's 41x81, which if you can figure out the bigness of that in your head -- it's pretty damn big. It takes up an entire wall, really -- that's huge. The poster sits nestled in a large frame of course, and the frame is some what heavy, but hang able. I took two of these 8lb command saw-tooth hooks, placed them on the wall for 20 minutes. Then, I took that giant poster frame, and I stuck it against the two, balancing it out on both sides. The package told you not to, but that package can kiss my grits because guess what? For over 4 months now, that bad boy hasn't fallen off the wall. Why? I have no idea, I guess it's my luck. But I recommend these because I even use ONE (properly probably) for one, smaller frame. Give it a try, and tell wal-mart Richy sent you.
