Very nice fan

I wanted a fan for the livingroom during the summer months and brought this one on sale. It arrived quickly and was super easy to assemble - no tools required. It also comes with a remote that I have yet to use. Speed and air output are pretty decent, and titling it up or down doesn’t require loosing a knob. Worked well all summer and still going strong.

Awesome Power

This is my second Lasko fan. I bought my first one 10 years ago, it's still running and I have it in a spare room. This is a great fan, and it is more powerful than the first one. Would recommend.

LOUD

It blows cool air even on the lowest level, I'd say a bit too strongly even. But the reason why I couldn't keep it is because it's extremely loud. The low setting is bearable, but medium and high are insanely loud, and this is coming from someone who likes to sleep to fan noise.

Loud and not very study

Strong wind output and easy assembly. Took 5-10 minutes to put together without any tools.

Not completely happy

I like the speed of the fan. The remote snd height. What i did not like is the spinners for both fans did not work. I could not tighten the spinners on both fans, so both fans are without their spinner. I am keeping both fans, but i am very disappointed.

Perfect fan, made in USA

This oscillating fan is exactly what I wanted. Floor fans weren't doing the trick. This baby does the job on the lowest setting. Cools a room nicely.

Stopped Oscillating after 1 week

I came to the internet to see if we were the o ly ones experiencing problems with this fan purchased from Costco. Obviously not. We purchased the first one in June 2024 and within 1 week, it stopped oscillating. We used it for a few more weeks until we found time to return it. I figured it was a fluke, so we purchased a second fan. Surprise, surprise, it’s been working for about a week and just tonight the oscillating feature stopped again. I will be returning the fan and purchasing another brand probably for a cheaper price somewhere else. It does do an excellent job at moving high volume air. Don’t chance it.

Piece of crap!

So far I am still unable to put it together. This brand and type of fan I have owned since the early 1990’s and this is the first time I have had difficulty putting one together.

Poor quality design and build

Purchased from Costco two months ago. Assembly was not gratifying, as I felt it was VERY flimsy, especially the fan blade and fan housing/shroud. The assembly is "snap together" and it is very flimsy material.

Blown away

I love this fan! it is an upgrade to our previous fan and has a remote controller so i don't have to get up and turn it on. I'm at an age to have hot flashes and I get cold and hot quite often and quickly. So this fan has 3 speeds and oscillates to fill a large living room. Level 1 is nice to circulate the air, level 2 is comfortable and level 3 is hurricane strength and cools off sweaty lady parts fast! Itcis stinkin' hot lately, so this fan is my bestie right now.

Not Sure This Will Last One Season

Love the larger size better than my 16" but everything else is questionable. It's mostly plastic, appears cheap %26 not sturdy at all. Slow speed is quiet but the noise goes up from there. I've already started to look around for a better one but I may just keep it for this season %26 hope it lasts that long!

Not a fan

We got the Lasko model S18654 from Costco, and the oscillating function failed in less than a week. I disassembled the fan and inspected the mechanism responsible for oscillation, and it is extremely fragile, and made of a soft unreinforced plastic. Polypropylene, or something similar. Doomed to fail, and it did, and quick! Not recommended.

Does Lasko have a Quality Control Department?

This is absolutely ridiculous. Ib haven't even gotten to the part of seeing how these fans perform yet (I purchased 2 ofc them) because they don't fully assemble.

Oscillating Feature Poorly Made

Purchased this fan at Costco a couple weeks ago. Not even a week yet and it stopped oscillating on its own. Returned and got another replacement hoping that it was just a defective one, but sadly it wasn't. Will be taking this 2nd one back to Costco for our money back! Don't waste your money if ypu love the oscillating feature!

Save your time- Don't buy!!

Walked by this at Costco and made the purchase because I was in need of a fan anyways. Well, less than 2 weeks later it has stopped oscillating. I hauled this back to Costco today for an exchange and they were out of stock. Now I've come to see all the other similar reviews! Save yourself the hassle, don't buy this!!!

This fan is not super loud but has good white noise so you can sleep! My fiancee and I need the sound of a fan to sleep well and most fans say they are ultra quiet and we don't want that. This is the newer model of the fan we had a loved that recently stopped working after more that ten years.

Laski windstorm 18 in pedestal fan

This fan put out some great wind,BUT, I'm on my second one in a month. The first one oscillated for about 3 weeks and quit.Soooo I took it back to Costco and replace it with another exact one. But lo and behold this one has quit oscillating in one week. Don't waste your money on it unless you want to keep taking things back to the store. Lasko you need to get your stuff together and make this thing oscillate right.

Great fan

Very quiet.....while moving a lot of air. The remote, which controls on/off and fan speed, is a plus. The adjustable height and oscillating (or not) makes this a great fan.
