This file cabinet is not 67" high

If you need a 64" high file cabinet - this is the cabinet for you. However if you need to match a row of 67" high file cabinets, this one seriously falls short. Literally short.

The dimensions in the description of this cabinet are 42" wide and 67" high. However, the cabinet that arrives is only 64" high. This purchase was to add an additional cabinet to a file room of 67" high file cabinets. This cabinet looks like the little brother or sister to the 67" cabinets we currently have in the file room.

Appears well made. Nice charcoal color looks good in an office setting.

Poor quality

Delivered a day late, was told and PAID FOR set up, but the guy stated that he didn't do that and left. Product had a large scratch mark in it when we opened it. One of the filing cabinets won't stay flushed with the other, no matter how many times we've adjusted it. Very disappointed and won't be purchasing from Office Depot again.

I love this product but just a word of warning: it's dark inside the cabinet, so if you're trying to find something and you don't have great lighting in your room, it can be a challenge. I love that the product is all metal, and that it's easy to clean. I am using this cabinet to hold my art supplies and office supplies. I kind of wished it was a lighter color inside the cabinet portion like it is in the drawer portion. Also I have to be careful because the black paint does come off if you accidentally scratch it.

I bought this file cabinet to replace one that was broken during a robbery at my house. While it is a HON and the construction feels sturdy, the lock leaves something to be desired. My last HON had a much better lock and I felt more secure with it.

The boss bought these for our new dealership that is opening at the end of this month and they are beautiful. The center pull out shelf is great for using as a quick table.

Unfortunate Experience

I ordered two filing cabinets for my new office. One of the two was dented so deeply that it prevented the locking mechanism from working, and left the cabinet unbalanced. When Office Depot exchanged that one, the replacement was also defective: dented, so that some functionality of the locking mechanism was impaired, and cosmetically not great. However, I've kept it and used it since the drawers open, and I'm desperate for storage space.
