Best dog bed yet!

My 12-year-old, 80# Labrador retriever loves this bed! I was worried it wouldn't be supportive enough (he has osteoarthritis), but other reviews say it is quite plush and I would agree. The medium size is perfect. The microsuede cover is thicker than other dog beds we have tried and should hold up well. The sherpa fabric hopefully won't show dog hair (he's a yellow Lab) like the denim nightmare he had previously that held onto dog hair like velcro. AMAZING value and received within two days!!

Great Material!! Top and underneath!

Nicest Dog bed I’ve ever bought!! And I’ve been purchasing them for over 40 Years!! Plush thick fabric on top, bottom fabric super thick almost as heavy as corduroy!! Great color, got grey one and it’s almost dk taupe! Double egg crate inside!! Very thick !! Zips so can wash and it doesn’t have waterproof liner so made my own, which makes easier to put cover back on also!!. Great price with sale and Kolhs cash. Loved so much bought a second one while on sale!! Dogs love them!

The pillow sheds

I have three labs and they love a good pillow. My dogs think it’s comfortable- they like laying on it. But I spend a lot of time cleaning up the little strings that shed from the top material. I had a coupon for it so I didn’t spend a lot but I have purchased better quality beds.

My German Shepherd loves this bed!! It has helped his hip issues immensely! It is really big though! I can lay on it with him and my other dog!! I highly recommend!!

I am super pleased with this bed! They are very large, enough to accommodate a 100lb and 70lb dog together. I bought another one for my senior dog to have all to himself as he gets a little grumpy if the other 2 dogs disturb his sleep. I definitely recommend these beds.

Great for iur arthritic dog loves it.

Our dog is 7 years old and is blind and has arthritis. He loves his new bed. It is very gentle on those joints that are arthritic. It is larger than what he needs when he finally settles in but the larger size, dye to his blindness, allows him to get on the bed and move around until he finds a comfortable spot.

Great bed, not so great cover

Not sure why a cover for a dog bed would be made in white. That's my fault for hoping it wouldn't show dirt from dog paws but it sure does. The fleece is also very very static prone. Every time our dog rolls over you hear the static electricity. The bed itself is great though and both dogs seem to love it. Yes, if a human steps on it you sink to the floor....but when our 65 pound dogs lay on it, they seem to float. The Medium size is perfect for a 65 pound dog.

Well made comfortable bed.

This bed is the perfect size for my Westie puppy. The egg crate inside is thick & comfortable. I ordered the small size & the cushion on the inside can fit into a tall kitchen size garbage bag. My puppy is not yet housetrained from accidental urination. Love it. Perfect.

Great dog bed for large, older golden!

My 11 year old golden loves this bed. Won't use his old one anymore since I laid this next to it. Very thick and supportive, about 5 inches thick and doesn't smush down. I got a size large for the back of the SUV and XL for home and love both. The XL is HUGE, my 90 lb golden takes up about half of it.

Comfortable for older dogs

I bought this bed for my 15 year old dog and he loves it. He weighs 70lbs and it doesn't smoosh like other beds do. I put a twin size mattress protector around the inside pad foam to help with leaks and dampness and that works wonders for when the cover needs to be washed. It is easy to put the cover back on as well after being washed. I would definitely purchase this ortho bed again for any age pup. I highly recommend it.

Nice orthopedic dog bed.

I was hesitant about ordering this as pictures are deceiving. This turned out to be a nice quality orthopedic mattress for all dogs, but especially older ones with, perhaps, stiff joints. The cushion is a nice depth. The size was right for my Cocker Spaniel. I am happy with my purchase.

This is a must have bed for my furbaby who at times loves to stretch out on the hardwood floor. He has arthritis in his hips and laying on hard surfaces makes it hard for him to get up and tend to make him limp more after he does. He loves this bed as he can lay curled up or totally stretch out with plenty room left. I was happily surprised with how big the large size is because you usually have to pay big bucks for big beds this size. The thickness and the orthopedic top makes this bed so comfy and perfect for any furbaby. I am a proud and happy owner of a Happy Hounds Oscar Orthopedic Dog Bed and my furbaby is even happier and thanks you too!

Definitely Not worth the money.

Happy hounds oscar orthopedic dog bed.--- This would have been okay for around 10 to 15 dollars. It is a very basic 3 to 5 dollar piece of foam with a somewhat loose and not very well fitted cover. Actually, now that I am writing this I am feeling a little dumb for not having returned it. I will have to look into that tomorrow! Definitely Not worth the money.

Happy Hounds Oscar Orthopedic Dog Bed

I purchased this bed for our 11.5 year old Chesapeake who has hip dysplaysia. I needed something that had support and comfort. Our former bed was old and worn out.

Wonderful large dog bed!

My 9 year old 100 lb. Lab loves this bed! He rolled all over it when I showed it to him. He seems to sleep quite comfortably on this bed! It is well constructed and this bed could hold my Norwegian Elkhound with my Lab! I’m very pleased with this choice. It was vacuum sealed and quickly went to its true size as soon as the seal was opened. I would highly recommend this bed for your large dogs or couple of dogs that like to be together! It’s attractively made also!

This bed is great! it holds up and doesn't go flat. My dog weighs around 70lbs and he is 11 years old with arthritis. This bed keeps him happy and his joints do not hurt like his old bed would make him. The bed is a little difficult after cleaning trying to get the foam back into the cover but with a little patience it ends up going back in and looks just like new. You will not be disappointed with this bed.

This bed is perfect for our dogs! It’s basic eggshell but gives our older Great Dane the orthopedic support she needs and is very comfortable for our younger dane when she lays on it. We have spent a lot of time and money with orthopedic dog beds but this one seems to do the trick for her and is even larger than she is. The only downside is it hard to take the cover off and clean the eggshell. I still highly recommend this bed!

great bed

My dog laid on this as soon as I put it down which is shocking. He is so neurotic & has OCD tendencies. He usually rips & tears everything so I had to stop spending money on beds & just buy a collection of blankets, which are cheaper to replace. I bought the large size & it is huge! I have an 85lb Lab mix & he looks lost in it! This is great for him because he loves to stretch out & he has had a recent back problem & the beginning of hip dysplasia. Poor thing is only 7 years old. Hopefully this helps!
