Wish I’d bought these years ago!

I bought these after researching the ‘best salt and pepper grinders’. Le Creuset came out on top. They are great and will last longer than most other brands according to my research. They are attractive, come in lots of colours and are nicely shaped and functionally excellent. I am very happy with my purchase and the great service from Kitchen Warehouse.

Great while they work - which isn't long!

Only lasted just over a year before the internal grinding mechanisms failed. Very expensive for the period they lasted. Expected better from this brand and for the price. They don't last long enough to justify the cost. Exceedingly disappointed.

Flammable salt and pepper mills.

I bought a pair of teal Le Creuset mills from John Lewis in March 2023. Today one started to smoke on the table, a metre from the window, by the strong sunlight hitting the base. It melted the plastic! It’s obviously very flammable and as such dangerous. I loved the colour and they work well, but for £60 outlay, this needs to be looked at in manufacture as a fire risk since it could catch fire in the sun. Fortunately our table has a marble top. A wooden table could have started a house fire.

They work!

These salt- and pepper grinders actually work, and properly! A good treat after struggling with our previous sets.

I’m so happy with these grinders. Previously (and for years!), I had mismatched cheap ones so it’s nice to finally have these beautiful grinders that match my kitchen decor and make a statement. I love that they come in a range of different colours to suit different styles or decor, and the 10 year warranty is pretty great! They’re functional, provide smooth grinding, and look superb. I’m very happy with my purchase (especially as I got them on sale!)

How the manufacturer achieves the incredible colour finish and gradient is beyond me. Not only this but the salt and pepper mill delivers a very satisfying amount with very little physical effort. This product is rare in that the design and quality is superb at a very low price. That is an achievement is this day and age!

Best ever

This is the best salt mill I have ever purchased. After years of replacing my salt mills I finally decided it was time to spend a bit more money on one. What a great idea this was for me, it works like a dream, grinding the salt exactly how I like it. Feels like a strong grinder in your hands when you are using it. The colour choices are also a good idea and the only hard decisions you will need to make. I got my salt mill in the sale so the price was amazingly tempting too.

Awful Product

I bought a pair of these to replace my (similar looking) Cole and Mason mills (which were great except that, being made of steel, the salt mill became corroded, which ruined the finish).
