Lego city advent calendar

My grandson loved this Lego city advent calendar that revealed a new piece every day. A lot more fun than the usual chocolate advent calendar.

Bought it for a bargain to celebrate Christmas in July. Something to add on our Christmas Lego set-up for the Christmas in December.

Present for a Lego Mad wife!

Birthday present for my LEGO mad wife. She loved it off course. Only disappointment is that she can’t (shouldn’t) open it till December. I’m not holding my breath!

These are a must at Christmas - kids love them!

These are the perfect gift for young children in the lead up to Christmas. If you have not had a Lego advent calendar in the past, give it a go you will not regret it! So many unique little builds and minifigs that aren’t available anywhere else, are often included. The kids just love them and have so much fun finding out what they’re adding to their collection each day. I would love to get the Harry Potter one too, but maybe next time! These sets are extremely popular in the lead up to Christmas and often sell out, so getting them now is a perfect way to secure them and have them in hand ready for when the countdown starts - be organised and enjoy a discount! Win:win!

Lego fun countdown to Christmas

This was a surprise gift that was very well received. It is something that now built can be used each year. There were no instructions and had to check online for some items in what they were in how to put together. Would definitely recommend.

Children getting excited

Got the kids so excited. My grand son who’s 6 yrs , every morning he wakes up , to open the window. Makes him absolutely happy and excited. Thank you 🙏

Lego City Rocks!!

Every year my little girl looks forward to doing the Lego Advent Calender. She loves seeing the new one to build every day and can't wait until the end to build Santa. Fun for both of us.

Poor box design

This is the first year I bought this. I was very disppointed that only one side of the box has the pererated openings. The other side doesn't, so my son couldn't open it himself, we acually had to use a sharp knife to open #1 this morning. We also need to switch the contents within the box each time a day is on opposite sides of the box just to get access to the toy. Not built kid friendly.

Advent calender

Advent calenders are always a great treat before Christmas for the little ones. This year Mr and Mrs Claus are the highlightes. Recommended.

doors not perforated

Same as previous reviewer - caused great disappointment to my autistic grandson as we had to hack into the calendar with a bread knife! It now looks a right mess and he couldn't see the picture of how the daily model is meant to look. Will return.

Disappointed

Very disappointed with this - not sure if it was just poor quality from Ocado,or if this is how all of the lego advent calendars are,but the calendar doesn't have perforated doors,so you aren't able to open them on each day without taking some scissors to massacre the box. In addition,the box had obviously been plced in the wrong way and so even after said massacre,the lego was still not accessible,without me manually turning it around. Each day's mini lego toy doesn't have instructions / what it is intended to be,so for the average little boy it is very difficult to guide what they are trying to make! Bit of a hit and miss. Very disappointed with this purchase,even though he is still excited about the lego.
