Easy to use

Was looking for a waffle maker without any nonstick coating and this was great! The waffles came out crispy on the outside, soft and fluffy on the inside. Easy to use

High quality product, yet rather heavy to handle.

Lovely waffles maker

It took a few attempts to figure its best operating temperature. Seems to make great waffles but it needs to be thoroughly covered in oils or sprayed well. Also found a little bit of corn starch makes my waffles a bit crispier.

Eh…

This said it was preseasoned but waffles stuck horribly even when I brushed it with oil. Will give it some time, though, because I always use cast iron and I love the idea of being able to use this when we don’t have power!

Little Heavy But It's Worth It

Cast iron?

If it was truly cast iron it would work on an induction stove. The fact it doesn't must mean it is NOT cast iron.

Solid waffle maker

Packaged well and includes thorough instructions. Works great with an instant waffle mix on my electric coil stove top. It is two solid cast iron sides that hook directly together, no tiny hinge parts to lose. Happy to have something that will last a lifetime and never buy another electric waffle maker.

It's taken a few uses

It's taken a few uses to get feel for it. The first time the waffle just stuck to both sides and split in half. The recommendation for the "Pam" really helped. The last time I used it we made ice cream sandwiches, everyone loved them.

Not American Made

Just wished that it was made in the USA and not in CHINA. Disappointed in that.

Stovetop cast iron waffle maker

We used it for the first time last week and it made delicious waffles! Easy to use too.

Non-stick and better tasting waffles

We ordered this waffle iron because we were tired of replacing waffle makers when the nonstick coating fails. Not only did we get a waffle maker that doesn’t stick, but the waffles it makes are tastier than the waffles from any electric waffle maker we’ve ever had.

Not very easy to use.

It’s VERY heavy! The ‘hinge’ doesn’t open all the way to put the batter in. Being iron it gets super hot and difficult to flip and to take the waffle out. Going to donate it.

I have bought the knife

I have bought the knife several times but couldn't find them for years. My daughter was thrilled when I gave her several. I definitely will buy more. I love the waffle pan just learning how to adjust it to my batter. You have great products.

I would recommend it.
