Love Metal Bench! It's perfect!

I love this Metal Bench with the Fleur-de-lis! My husband said there was 5 pieces to put together and went together easily! We're taller people, 5'8 -6ft and I love the height of the legs and back to this bench. Comfortable to sit on. Well made sturdy metal.

Yes, the pieces fit---just tighten them equally, in turns, a little at a time!

Beautiful, solid, and easy to assemble. Some idiots griped that the back piece doesn't line-up evenly or otherwise is not the correct size, but this is not true: Put all the bolts and nuts in LOOSLEY, and then tighten all nuts in turns, a little at a time, and it will all come together. Yes, it takes a little force, especially the back rest, but don't be a wimp! It's like tightening lug-nuts on a wheel: You do each one a little at a time.

The bench is beautiful. Even the Welcome sign is so visible at night (with the porch light on). It almost glows. It will hold a lot of weight, 552lbs, and the rungs are flat so you don't actually have to use a cushion. Only one slight problem, for me. The bench is over 50" long, and I have a small front porch, but by rearranging the way I thought it would sit, I got it to fit perfectly.

I am pleased with this purchase. The bench is nice looking, it catches your eye. The colour is an aged bronze. It is made of steel and is quite sturdy. I found it easy to install a chain attached to the seat, to ensure that the bench doesn't walk off some dark night. It was reasonably easy to assemble, though I found the directions a little vague. If you have a problem in assembly, try reversing the ends.

Great looking bench, sturdy and seems to hold up well through weather. Parts are not exact so 3rd times a charm right?!. Home Depot was great through it all helping us to get it it reordered. The 1st bench had a bent screw and the second one had holes where the screw goes through that wouldn't line up. But the 3rd bench was easy to put together.

I would have given this a 4-star rating were it not for the fact that the screw holes in the uprights were slightly out of sync so that, while the rear panel is flush with the left upright (as you face the bench), the right upright extends about 1/3-inch above the rear panel. Not a big deal unless you are looking for it, but still disappointing. Some minor roughness in the castings. On the positive side, easy to assemble and overall a handsome piece of outdoor furniture and a good value.
