Surprisingly great comfort for this big guy!
I was shopping for big and tall executive chairs since mine bit the dust.
[Rewarded Review] Didn't even last 18 months!
I bought this chair almost exactly 2 years ago this February. I ALSO bought the Allstate 2-year extended warranty. At 18 months, the pneumatic cylinder that allows you to raise and lower the chair, started to lose its ability to keep the chair lifted in place. So, I contacted Allstate Protection directly, with several months still left on my warranty! I was declined. Not Once, but Twice! And, I was nice and polite, too! Don't waste Your money on THIS chair. And definitely don't waste Your money on this bogus Allstate Extended Warranty scam.
Lumbar Support
My trusty old mid-height computer chair I've used for the last 10 years finally gave up the battle and self-destructed, becoming unusable.
[Rewarded Review] Enjoying my new chair
I bought this new chair for my back. Usually I go to a local used store and try to find a good office chair. I've tried that a few times and they never helped my back.
Very comfortable
I like the high back and head rest positioning. The seat is comfortable and the back design gives me lower back support. This chair replaced my previous chair of 7 years. I needed better ergonomic support and got it with this chair. Assembly was fairly easy and simple. I just wish the bolt took was a bit more sturdy. I bought 3 of these chairs for different family members and assembled all 3. Overall, we have all been satisfied.
[Rewarded Review] Good chair for limited hours of sitting
I bought this chair when I started working remotely. I needed more cushion under my bottom than my current chair. The cushion was great! The back lumbar area was very comfortable. However, the height of the back was a little too high and made my office space feel smaller. As long as I was sitting back, it was great. However, when my keyboard tray is pulled out, the arms would hit it (arms are not adjustable), so I tended to sit forward on the seat, which did not give me the back support I was hoping for. In that position, it also made me feel like I was sliding forward on the seat. Unfortunately, I returned it and had to pay triple the price for a chair that met my 8-hour daily sitting needs.
[Rewarded Review] Great for taller people
Chairs are like shoes. You need to try them in person as every foot (and back) is different. I went to the store and sat in every chair I could, from the bargain to the most expensive.
[Rewarded Review] Not for tall people
It seemed like it contoured to my back nicely in-store. But after using it at home for more than 20 mins, it's painful.
[Rewarded Review] Almost Perfect
I love the openness of mesh office chairs. This one fits almost perfectly. The lumbar support could be a little higher for my back (6' tall). I purposely chose this model because it did not have padded arms since that is usually where my chairs get dirty and wear holes. However, I now miss the padded comfort as I find myself leaning on the arm rests more than I ever imagined. All in all, I'm happy with my purchase. It was fairly quick and easy to put together although I needed to get my husbands help to snap the casters on the base as I didn't have enough hand strength. Everything else was very easy. Nice looking chair and the sale price was perfect.
[Rewarded Review] Not For Everyone
I purchase this chair online during a sale sight or sit unseen because we no longer have a local store. My former chair's cushion (also from Office Max) was just over a yr. old but, the seat was no longer comfortable. Since I use my office chair for many hrs. a day so I chose this model for it's 8-10 hr. rating (it was the only affordable one in this allocation I believe). Many of the reviews said it was difficult to construct, but my son (who used to work for Office Depot) assembled it (as he used to on the job so easy enough for him). So far (after one month of use), the seat cushion is pretty cushy. Only time will tell if it will remain so. I am not particularly fond of the arm rests. They seem fine for sitting/resting but, since this is a desk chair, I must use my p.c. mouse & it seems to angle oddly to do so. Equally, find the head rest juts out right where my head meets it. I am 5'2". It seems to be made for someone who is at least 5'5". The chair looks nice except for the black cushion which seems to attract & show every bit of dust & lint. There is a plastic & mesh jut portions at joint of headrest & back of the chair which is more like a pen/pencil tray!! lol I am pretty certain it will collect dust too. If there is a purpose, someone needs to clue me. I am fortunate my cat hasn't gotten a claw stuck in the mesh back.
[Rewarded Review] Perfect Affordable Fit
I don't spend the most time at my computer, but when I do, it can be for long stints. I'm a taller male that found almost all other affordable chairs to feel cramped, too soft, little to no support, and made from poor materials/construction. The rest were just flat out too expensive. This chair is simple, fits my height of 6', shoulders of 46", has a solid foam seat for a 220lbs person, and a tight weave mesh that actually supports my whole back including my neck. The mesh back also keeps me from sweating to death at the desk like similar gaming chairs or leather office chairs. Then it comes with a 3 year warranty. Talk about quality in a relatively disposable piece of furniture. So glad I found this chair! Absolute body saver for larger folks.
Horrible. Lenzer = 4-5 person job
I’ve put together far more complex furniture than this - and from start to finish (well, I’m not finished yet) this has been a nightmare. The directions are poor, primarily because of the angles intended to show where parts fit together - so far removed from reality to be laughable. Written instructions not great - at least give a video link. This is a 4-5 person job: one to feed you ibuprofen, someone else to hold things at bizarre angles, a PhD to interpret the directions, and if you can’t find the PhD then get someone with an engineering masters and use the 5th person to hold you back from hurling it through the window, giving up, and just attach casters to a milk crate. Also, if you throw it through the window you can’t get a refund.
Fits my back perfectly
After six months of working from home and using a old wooden chair, my back was starting to complain. I Rarely make an impulse buy, but I melted into this chair in the store and bought it. Several weeks later and I am still satisfied.
Good, Solid Chair
I bought this chair a month ago and have been sitting in it ever since. I bought it on sale. It wasn't super difficult to assemble, but I had the same problem as other reviewers with assembling the arms. If you can commit some time to it though, you'll figure it out. I like the chair a lot. It's comfortable to sit in, and I LOVE the headrest. I used to have a leather chair that made me sweat, but not this one! I love the adjustable tilt tension. I move around a lot when I sit and sometimes end up sitting criss-cross or with one foot on the seat, and this chair works for all my sitting positions. The arm-rests are a little bit too low, but that doesn't bother me too much. I would recommend going to the store and sitting in it before you buy it though because I wouldn't be surprised if the back support and headrest weren't at the right position for everyone, and you can't adjust those things. All in all, it's a good chair and I'm glad I bought it.
[Rewarded Review] Comfortable chair
After sitting in many chairs at different stores, this chair was easily the best for comfort and price. I was particularly looking for a chair with good low-back support. This chair definitely supports the whole spine and especially the low back. I originally purchased the chair and attempted to assemble it at home, but the arms were difficult to attach. I returned the product to Office Depot, bought a different chair, returned that one, and ended up just buying this chair again. But this time, I paid to have Office Depot staff put it together and I would recommend that for anyone who buys this chair. The main drawback to this chair is it can get a bit uncomfortable for my neck after sitting in it for long periods of time, but I'm taller (6'1). Overall, this is a good product.
Fine at first, but gets uncomfortable
I bought the chair about 2 weeks ago and sit in it daily (minus weekends). It was ok at first, felt decently comfortable, but over time the flaws have become apparent. I do plan to return the chair and get something different. The price was great and I needed a chair, but it just doesn't cut it.
[Rewarded Review] Amazing Chair!
I was in the market for a new chair for gaming because the one I had just wasn't cutting it anymore.
Very Comfortable and Easy to Assemble
I was looking for a cost-effective, comfortable high-back chair, and this chair fit the bill. It doesn't have many controls (a lever to control seat height and rock / don't rock, and a knob to adjust ease of rocking). Despite the simplicity, I find this chair to be incredibly comfortable. I am 5'10" and the heights of the armrests and headrest are perfect for me. I would suggest sitting in the store model (which I did) to determine if these heights work because there are no adjustments if they don't.
